Xueer's POV

Fancy...

The very first impression I had after stepping a foot on this grand ball room. Huge chandeliers hanging on the ceiling while the whole place are shimmering with crystals. The black and white interior gave it a modern touch that was a perfect combination with elegance.

"Ma'ams, you are assigned to be sitted in the first table. It was assigned only for relatives and close friends." The butler said as we enter the room. There was a carpet that serves as the pathway and a huge stage in the middle of the room.

Xin offered her arms to me to support me cause she knows it's hard for me to walk with heels.

"Thank you." I smiled at her. She smiled back at me. I can see Jiaqi at my peripheral intently staring at us. What could she be thinking?

We arrived at the table. It seems really intended for us since it has exactly 8 chairs. Xin guided me to sit in the chair then after took her own next to me. To my greatest wonder, Jiaqi chose the farthest from us, which is unusual.

People often occupy chairs in order and does not leaves space, specially if you're with your friends. I shrugged the thought away as I looked at all that was seated her.

Keran and Zihan really looks good together. Honestly, I would ship them, but, Keran is so cold to even show affection to Zihan.

Daimeng on the other hand is obviously liking Yu Yan, but we are all informed that she's inlove with someone else. She has a girlfriend, who is beautiful anyways.

I looked at my bestfriend and Kiki. Shaking already told me that she likes Kiki, but the latter keeps on drawing the friendship line between them. I don't know, but I kind of feel relieved in no reason. Probably because I'm afraid for Shaking, I really don't know, but that's the only reason I could come up with.

"Are you okay? Do you feel uncomfortable?" Xin asked. She's so thoughtful. This girl is really too good to be true.

"Yeah, I'm fine. Just overwhelmed." I honestly said. I didn't know Jiaqi's family is this wealthy.

"Don't be, this kind of places really suits you." Xin said that made me blush.

"How so?" I asked. I don't know why I still asked, but I really want to hear the answer.

"Because you are one of the crystals shining here. A princess belongs to a palace." She answered. It gained a smile from me. Not because the words are sweet, but because of its sincerity.

"Okay, everyone, good evening." Someone suddenly spoke, guess it's the MC.

"So tonight is the night before our Lingzi and Fan become one. Firstly, the couple asked me to thank all of you for attending." She said. Everyone's listening.

"The future newly weds will dance first, then we will please random partners to join them." The MC explained.

"After the first song, everyone can already join the dancing according to your free will." She said. I looked at Xueer, I will be able to dance with her, and my heart's already lifting in joy.

"Enjoy ladies and gentlemen. Have a good evening." After that, a soft sound started. The spotlight traveled to the stairs and there is the two. Walking down the grand stair. They look so happy, and I'm glad about it.

They arrived at the stage and started dancing with the slow song.

"Mr. and Mrs. Zhuo." The MC started to call.

"Mr. and Mrs. Fan."

"Ms. Daimeng and Ms. Zuo." I was shocked. I thought it'll be Yu Yan. I looked at there direction and they are shocked as well.
