Chapter 29

Shaking's POV

I woke up in a room dominated by the color white. I scanned the room seeing Kiki and Xin on the couch. They immediately came to me after they saw that I'm already awake.

Xin paged the doctor and he soon after arrived together with the nurses.
Xin and Jiaqi excused themselves to give us space to talk.

"Miss Xie, can I ask you what happened before you lost your consciousness?" The doctor asked me. I tried recalling and remembwred what happened yesterday.

"Actually, I'm experiencing head anf body ache frequently, but then it'll suddenly disappear without me doing anything. Then yesterday, my head and body ached so much so I asked Xin if I could go back to our dorm. After Xin left I turned off the lights and then suddenly there's some kind of blurry visions that's passing so fast. I got drowsy and then after lost my consciousness." I told him. That was so far, the worst feeling I had in my whole life.

"By any chance, did you experienced some kind of traumatic experience before?" He asked. The only memory I have is when Kiki saved me from the prostitution den and that's it. I told the doctor about that, and he nodded.

"Ms. Xie, the blurry images might be from that experience. There's a chance that you forgot something and this just means you're going to retain those memories that you lost. The thing is, I can't explain the pain on your limbs since it's actually unrelated commonly to your condition." The doctor said. I nodded despite my confusion.

What kind of memories have I lost exactly?

"The best advice I could give to you so far is, do not stress yourself out. It may be the reason why you're experiencing severe shocks of this case." He said. I nodded at him and thank him. After he instucted the nurses of what to do, he already left the room.

"Which among the three is your girlfriend?" the nurses giggled as they ask me that? I looked at them confusedly, three? Only Kiki and Xin is here.

"You mean two?" I asked them.

"No, the one who sent you here is neither the two that's here. She's much taller and has a short hair." one of the nurses said. It must be Keran.

"Anyone of them's fine. You're lucky you're surrounded by such visuals." one of them said and they giggled again. I just watched them in full confusion.

"None of them is my girlfriend." I clarified. They then exchanged looks and giggled again. I'm starting to get annoyed but I tried my best to calm myself.

"So all of them are available?" the nurse who's injecting some kind of fluid in me asked.

"Mine's the one with a short hair." the other nurse already claimed.

"Which one?" asked her friend.

"The shorter one." the nurse answered.

"okay then, I'm glad you're pertaining to her. I actually like the taller one from yesterday." her friend said giggling.

"Okay girls, I'm claiming the one with a not too short hair. She's kinda hot." The girl injecting fluids in me said, and they all giggled, again.

"Ehem." I cough trying to grab their attention.

"I'm sorry to burst your bubbles, but they are all taken." I said smiling at them. Their mood suddenly dropped but the tried their best to cover it.

"Is the taller one really taken?" Asked one of the nurse.

"Hmm, by Ms. China? You know her?"I answered. Her eyes widened and nodded.

She looks so hopeless, mumbling how beautiful Zihan is.
