Beg

Atty. Aguirre drafted the complaint and it was done very quickly. She finished everything in just two days. We will file the disbarment first. If I win, I'll file another complaint and pursue the concubinage case.

"Are you sure you're okay? So I checked the documents you sent me and yeah, it was in a conjugal dwelling." Buntong hininga niya sa akin. Of course, we did not sign a prenuptial agreement so any property he chose to buy will be automatically my property, too. Or maybe he just underestimated me and he did not expect that I will use it against him.

"Kaya kapag may mga kliyente ako na walang prenuptial bago ang kasal binabantaan ko kaagad na maggiging problema eh." She said nonchalantly then I glanced at her. Atty. Aguirre looked so cold and ruthless. She's wearing a black pantsuit. Her long brown and naturally curly hair fell over her shoulders. Mukhang handang-handa siya sa araw na ito.

"I am okay." I'm wearing a white pantsuit, too. Naramdaman kong huminto ang sasakyan.

"Look, maraming media pagpasok sa loob. I suggest you ignore them. Huwag kang sasagot ng kahit na ano. Expect a big crowd. Pareho kayong mabibigat na tao kaya wala tayong magagawa." Sabi niya habang sumisilip sa labas ng bintana ng SUV.

"Okay. I know that already." Unti-unti siyang ngumisi tapos umiling. Atty. Aguirre's personality is really strong, I wonder if she already met her equal?

"Now I understand why they call you President Pablo's Jr. You can be real scary. Para kang pusa na nag-evolve." Natatawang sabi niya. Ngumuso ako sa kanyang sinabi.

"Atty. Aguirre, do you have a boyfriend or husband, perhaps?" Naiintriga kong tanong.

"I am married to my work." A woman like her...so strong and so sure about everything...it seems like she don't need a man in her life.

"For us lawyers, we should practice a high degree of integrity and morality. This is where your husband failed. Him committing infidelity makes him lose his integrity and morality. So it is a ground for disbarment."

High degree of integrity and morality huh?

"Okay, let me brief you before we go inside just in case you'll be asked if you'll file a complaint for concubinage." Sabi niya sa akin. Wala akong ginawa kung hindi ang tumango.

"According to Article 344 of the Revised Penal Code: Prosecution of the crimes of adultery, concubinage, seduction, abduction, rape, and acts of lasciviousness - The crimes of adultery and concubinage shall not be prosecuted except upon a complaint filed by the offended spouse. Which is you, you're the offended party."

"The offended party cannot institute criminal prosecution without including both the guilty parties, if they are both alive, ---

"In this case, wala ka namang namapatay sa kanila so buhay silang pareho."

"nor, in any case, if he shall have consented or pardoned the offenders." Pagpapatuloy niya.

"What happens next?" Tanong ko sa kanya.

"After we filed this complaint, they will receive a letter and they need to respond to that within fifteen business days. You're the daughter of the commander-in-chief, pagpasok mo sa loob. Consider this done already. We will have this expedited and I will do everything in my power to win this."
