Last three stops before I leave.

Marahan kong nilapag ang bulaklak sa ibabaw ng itim na marmol na libingan. Marahan kong ipinikit ang mata ko nang maramdaman ko ang mabining pag-ihip ng hangin. Lumuhod ako para masindihan ang kandilang dala-dala bago marahang inalis ang mga alikabok sa marmol.

Things happened beyond our expectation but there are some things that are definitely beyond our control.

Nagtagal ako ng ilang minuto pa bago nagdesisyong tumayo na at umalis. Sumakay ako sa aking kotse at nagmaneho papunta sa puntod ni Lian. I bought her favorite flowers, too. Bumaba ako ng sasakyan at hinawakan ang laylayan ng aking bestida ng liparin ito ng hangin.

"Lian.." Ngiti ko sa kanyang puntod. Nag-indian stit kaagad ako.

"I bought your favorite." Kausap ko sa kanya habang inilalapag sa gilid ng kanyang puntod ang kumpol ng marigold. Saglit akong tumahimik at sinindihan rin ang kandila kong dala-dala.

"I miss you so much, Li." Bulong ko sabay marahang ipinikit ang mga mata. I can feel the tears at the side of my eyes.

"Aalis na ako mamaya. I just came to say goodbye. Sabi ni Paul, magvideo call kami tuwing pupunta siya sa iyo." Pumikit ako ulit at tumingala ng muling umihip ang pang-umagang hangin.

"Lian, are you with my little angel right now?" Tanong ko at hinayaang lumandas ang maiinit na luha habang nakapikit ako at nakatingala. Tapos muli akong bumaling sa puntod ng aking kaibigan.

"Don't worry about Paul. Kami ang bahala sa kanya. But, I'm just wondering, Li, do you want Paul to meet someone again?" Pagkatanong ko niyon ay muling umihip ang hangin. Humalakhak ako.

"I guess it's a yes?" I chuckled again. Ikinuwento ko sa kanya kung kamusta si Paul nitong mga nakaraang buwan simula ng mawala siya. I also told her what happened to Luthor and Savannah, to Scarlett, too.

"Are you proud of me, Li? I was able to let it go. I am free now. I really hope you're still here with me. I miss you everyday, Li and I am still so lonely without you here with us." Iyak ko sa kanya. Itinakip ko ang aking mga palad sa aking pisngi. Losing Lian feels like I lost my soul.

Just like Clarice, she was with me through my ups and downs. And I was with her through her highs and lows, too. My friendship with her is really through sickness and health and until death...we will still not part.

That's just how I love her.

"Miss na miss na kita, Li. I'll be gone for god knows how long but I promise, ikaw ang una kong pupuntahan 'pag handa na ulit akong bumalik rito." Iyak ko pa rin sa kanya. Paul said that Lian is her miracle.

She was a miracle for us, too. Lian is the reason why we got all so close with each other. Mishael said she really is an angel. It's like she just fulfilled her purpose and when she saw that it worked, she return to heaven.

"As much as I want you here with us. Alive. I know, that you're in the right place. I know you are in a place where there is no pain and no struggles. That's the only consolation that I can hold on to. No more pain, Li."

I stayed for few more minutes then took a drive again. To my last stop.

Pinihit ko ang door handle ng salaming pintuan ng mausoleum at marahang naglakad papunta sa tatlong puntod. Mukhang kakalinis lang ng caretaker dahil wala ng bakas ng alikabok.
