6: Moving Mountains
MAX'S POV
The dream started off with me standing on a beach at night. The beach was sandy and rocky, but I wasn't too sure where it was. I looked around and saw several signs in Arabic, so I must be somewhere in the Middle East. The faint lights of a town behind me were visible. The stars twinkled in the sky, but suddenly, the earth started to tremble and the water began to shake. The stars turned red and a massive...thing started coming out from the water.
It looked like a giant mountain, rising from the water. Sheets of water and massive chunks of rock were falling off of it. It let out a grumble that shook the earth. Suddenly, one massive red eye started to glow on it. It roared, and the earth shook. The stars started falling from the sky and the earth opened up. I fell into a big hole in th eearth and the dream went black.
The dream suddenly changed to a forest setting. A deer galloped through the woods, and suddenly, hordes of snarling black dogs wearing golden armor dashed after it, howling. There was only one person those dogs belonged to. And that person came riding in shortly after, thundering in on his black horse. He wore a black cape over a suit of black armor. His eyes glowed yellow inside a massive helmet. Antlers were growing from his head, huge black antlers.
Herne looked at me, and then suddenly, he raised his arm. Something came out from his sleeve and landed on the ground at my feet. It was a snake. Herne gave a cold laugh and galloped off. The snake started to grow, larger and larger. It started to grow thinner and taller. Robes sprouted over its form. Its face grew smaller and grow black hair. Before I knew it, I was looking at a man.
The man was Middle Eastern, and he wore a long set of flowing black-purple robes. He had glowing red eyes and black hair. Worst about him was that his eyes, instead of having circular normal human pupils, had slitted snake pupils.
He raised a hand, and a flat triangular black mask fell down over his face, leaving two eyeholes so he could still see. Seven massive snakes burst out from his back. They were attached to his back by their tails. They hissed and spat at me. One snake blew a cloud of green venom, and before I knew it, I was falling over, the snakes' poison coursing through my veins.
As the dream went black a second time, I heard a voice calling my name.
"Max...Max...Max!"
And I woke up. Piper and Jack was nervously standing over me, but they gave sighs of relief as I sat up in my chair.
"Max, we were calling your name a bunch! What happened?" Piper asked.
"I just hand a bad dream. Sorry. Anyways, what's happening?" I asked.
"Kevin and Alice are back. And they got something from the store," Jack said.
