"For fock sake, mate. Do you have any idea what time it is?" Jordan said while rubbing at his eyes and squinting at Oliver.
"Well I'm going to take it the confessions went well." Jordan mumbled and Oliver simply shrugged.
"She hasn't told me yes but she also hasn't told me no. We're running on fifty fifty luck here." Jordan shook his head and watched as Oliver skipped off.
"I better be the first one you introduce her to if she says 'yes' you little bastard!" Jordan called after him and Oliver gave him two thumbs up over his head as he ran down the street towards the direction of his house. He took the stone steps that led up to his house two at a time and instantly halted once his phone vibrated again.

neighborhoodHe rolled his eyes and looked back with a large grin one last time before opening the front door. His greeting consisted of a large white German Shepherd that was the first to greet him as the small black and brown dog wasn't too far behind. His grin widened as he kneeled down and the two dogs instantly began to lick at his hands and face. Oliver raised his head to avoid getting licked on his mouth and scrunched his face up when Luna would come close. His knee popped as he rose to his full height and started his journey to find food for dinner.
"Pasta, stir fry, pizza. Ooh. Miso soup!" He pulled the leftover soup from the fridge and placed some into a smaller bowl in order to heat it up. His thoughts began to roam as the hum of the microwave calmed him down. Was he making the right choice? Sure he loved Alissa at one point but was throwing away his marriage for a woman who may or may not be with him tomorrow worth it? He could still call up Alissa and save his marriage if all else fails. He was sure he could make it up to her even if they did get divorced. Then again she had probably called her mother and told her what happened. She probably already booked her flight for after the court date. He let out a sigh and ran a hand through his hair. If Evelyn refused him, he was sure he would do just fine on his own. It was the feeling of someone being there when he was at his worst that he craved. The love and affection that he so desperately wanted still ate at him. That would be his downfall and he knew he wouldn't last a week on his own. The microwave let out three drawn out beeps and he moved from his spot against the island to get his food. His mood had soured and he stared down at the bits of seaweed, tofu, and green onions that floated along the side of the bowl. The bowl scraped against the marble countertop as he pushed the contents away from him. He'd eat it eventually just not now. His eyes met Luna who was sitting next to him, begging for food.
"No Luna. You'll get fed in a bit." His hand ruffled through the dog's fur and she closed her eyes to relish the feeling. It wasn't until his phone dinged that he popped up from his spot in front of the dog. His eyes read over the text once. Twice. Six times in total before his arms shot up and he danced around the kitchen. He picked up Oskar and the poor dog had no choice but to bear his owner's happy dance around the majority of the house.
"She said 'yes' Oskar ole boy!" he cheered and kissed the side of the dog's head before placing him on the couch and running up to his room.
