True enough, he stood in the shower, face contorted into a silent sob and heart fluttering in his chest. Never had he felt an emotion this strong and he couldn't yet decide if he loved it or hated it. It felt almost like he carved out a piece of himself and gave it to her. At first it seemed like a good idea but now the pain was setting in. He couldn't quite understand which reason he was crying for. Because he found someone who was willing to understand him? Because he finally regretted his first two marriages? Because he loved her? Because he wished things would've been different? Because he was scared that his past would chase her away? He couldn't understand and that caused a painful sob to escape him.

"Oliver?" He clamped his mouth shut and he continued to shiver under the steaming hot water.

"I know you're in here." He cursed under his breath and turned the water off while reaching for the towel. He panicked when he didn't feel it but it soon made contact with his hand. With a forced smile, he wrapped the towel around his waist and pulled the curtain back to greet her. She looked amused for a second until she met his eyes. The usual loving spark had dulled drastically.

"What's wrong?" His eyebrows furrowed and his smile faltered.

"What do you mean?" She stood rigid and crossed her arms over her chest.

"I'm not stupid, Oliver. I could hear you crying from the living room. Luckily your bandmates aren't too bright." He dropped the smile and his expression turned guilty. His mouth opened and closed as if he couldn't find the words.

"Can we talk when I'm a little more decent?" She stepped aside and motioned for him to go. He was the first to leave the bathroom and the guys snickered when they spotted her walking out but quieted down upon seeing the look on her face. They guys knew all too well what that look meant. It was the you-have-some-explaining-to-do look that made every man sweat bullets. She waited until his final article of clothing was pulled on before she cleared her throat and raised an eyebrow. He didn't get a single word out before the tears started and her stern expression switched to concern in an instant.

"I promise I didn't cheat or anything but I'm scared Evelyn." She gave him a curious look and moved closer towards him as he sat on the edge of the bed and reached out for her.

"I'm scared that you won't like my past and that you'll leave me. Or that it'll be a repeat. I fall in love, marry the woman I love, then it all goes to hell. I don't want that to happen to you Evelyn." He buried his face into her stomach and she ran a hand through his short blonde hair.

"Yes I care about your past, Oliver, but that's not my top priority. My top priority is to make sure that you keep doing whatever the hell it is that you're doing. Because that shit seems to be working since you have millions of screaming fangirls after you." He chuckled and looked up at her.

"I'm not going anywhere. That one night stand happened and for some unknown reason we kept in touch. Now look where we are. Even if I didn't come into your life, that divorce probably would've happened eventually. I could tell you were unhappy with something going on in your life, Oliver. And at first I didn't understand what made you so unhappy, but now I understand. You two were bound to crash and burn eventually." A smile graced his lips and she stared down at him lovingly. She lifted a hand and brought it down on his shoulder.

"I'm hungry." He laughed and lightly pushed her away so he could stand.

"Let's go see what is left of the food. If Nicholls got a hold of it then we're dying of famine." Evelyn led the way down the stairs and all eyes were on her.

"Is he alive?" Lee asked and she gave them a confused look.

"You did not look happy." Jordan said through a mouth full of popcorn. Evelyn nodded and Oliver placed a hand on the small of her back to lead her to the kitchen.

"Did you leave anything for us, Nicholls?" Oliver asked and Nicholls slammed his phone down on the table.

"For the last time, mate. It's not me, I swear. It's Kean's fat arse who keeps eating food during the night." Kean gave Nicholls an unamused look and that's how the two almost wrecked the bus. Evelyn apologized to the driver one more time before climbing back onto the bus and giving the two a pointed look.

"Sorry, Evelyn." they said in sync and she inhaled deeply.

"Well there is a good side to it. I was able to convince the bus driver to stop at the next McDonalds." Nicholls' eyes lit up and he gave the rest of his band a giddy look.

"We're going to Mickey D's boys. I'm going to get a Big Mac." The band laughed and Evelyn shook her head. If someone would've told her years back that she'd one day be touring with a worldwide famous rock band and dating the lead singer of said rock band, she would've asked if the person was alright in the head. Never had she seen herself in this predicament. And now she didn't want to see herself without this predicament.
