"I still don't believe you." Oliver said stubbornly to Alexis as he set her bags down and she shrugged.
"Fine. Then don't. Doesn't change the fact that it's true." Evelyn took her shoes off and locked the door, hearing her sister squeal upon meeting Oliver's two dogs.
"You are so cute~." she cooed as the two dogs attacked her with kisses. Oliver followed Evelyn into the kitchen and instantly hugged her from behind.
"She's right, love." he mumbled and she hummed.
"About the touring thing. I've never brought Hannah or Alissa on tour with me. I could never trust Hannah around the guys. She was way too flirty with them while they hated her. And Alissa never showed interest in the band. Again, the guys hated her." Evelyn leaned back into the embrace and caught the reflection of her sister leaning against the bar watching them. She pulled from Oliver's embrace and began making dinner.
"You want to help Alex?" Evelyn asked and turned in time to see the ravenette shaking her head.
"Well then quit watching us. Don't you have stuff to unpack?" Alexis narrowed her eyes and prepared an argument.
"I'm going to sit my ass right here and watch you like a sitcom." Oliver watched in amusement as the siblings began to bicker back and forth. He and his younger brother would bicker but it never turned into anything serious. The argument between Evelyn and Alexis got pretty amusing whenever the short strawberry blonde lunged at the taller ravenette. The barstool hit the ground as Alexis scurried out of the way of her sister's striking range.
"Calm down you fucking rabid creature. You're about to take the whole wall out." That was Alexis' final words as Evelyn finally caught up with her. Oliver turned around and ignored the two women as he began to prepare the food. He heard a yelp and hands grabbed him. He was placed in between the two women and from the looks of it, Alexis was the one using him as a shield.
"Really? You're using my boyfriend as a shield?" Oliver's eyes widened. Sure they acted like a couple and she met the band while he met her family but they never officially confirmed the labels. He'd have to talk to her later when he wasn't in the middle of a war.
"Listen you two, you can fight all you want but I'm hungry." The twins began to calm down as they found themselves agreeing with him. Alexis ran off towards the guest room while Evelyn went back to helping him.
"So." he started and she turned to look at him from where she was chopping a bell pepper.
"Boyfriend?" Oliver raised an eyebrow and a grin spread across her face.
"We act like a couple and we've both accepted the fact that we're dating so why not?" He nodded in agreement and wiped his hands off on the kitchen towel. His hands spun her around and he cupped her hands.
"Evelyn Sawyer, will you be my girlfriend?" Her eyes widened and he was lost once again in her eyes.
"Yes." They both grinned and he leaned down to kiss her.
"Why does it feel like an engagement?" she asked once they broke the kiss. He chuckled and shrugged, going back to making vegetable soup.
