The day had come. She was actually graduating. All those late nighters, Red Bull mornings, emotional stress breakdowns, cursing at the teachers and walking out. They all led to this. Tears rolled down her face as she shook the hand of her professor and accepted her diploma. They both froze and the flash of the camera momentarily blinded her.

"Never thought I'd see the day, Evelyn Sawyer." She smiled and hugged her professor one last time before walking back to the assigned seat. The ceremony ended and she made a beeline towards her family. She threw her arms around her mother.

"Oh. I'm so proud of you." Evelyn chuckled and pulled away so she could hug her father.

"Excuse me. Part for the best." Evelyn chuckled and rolled her eyes as she hugged her twin sister.

"You dumb bitch. You actually did it. And from what mom said, you're throwing it all away for a hot ass rock star." Her sister had whispered the last part and she couldn't help but laugh. Evelyn nodded and Alexis grinned.

"I'm so proud of you." Anyone would've thought she was talking about Evelyn's accomplishment of graduating but Evelyn knew better. She knew her sister was talking about Oliver and she couldn't wait to introduce them.

"Speaking of the devil." she mumbled and pulled her phone out her pocket. The guys begged to come to her graduation but their label had other plans.

She grinned and pocketed her phone.

"Lunch?" she offered and her father and sister nodded. Evelyn looked towards her mother who just shrugged. She took them to the small diner that her and Oliver visited quite frequently. The tiny bell rang as they opened the door and a head popped up from behind the counter.

"Evelyn!" the brunette cheered and Evelyn smiled.

"Hey, Casey." Casey wiped her hands on the front of her black apron and led them to a random table.

"The usual?" the brunette asked and Evelyn nodded. The waitress turned to the other four and gave their orders.

"Mind explaining to me the situation with this Oliver guy?" her father asked and Evelyn froze. How was she going to explain that she had a one night stand with a married guy, then was the cause of his divorce, but was still with the guy?
