Tour was officially over. The guys had released the new song they had written for Death Stranding and would start on the music video for it a week after they got back. Ludens had gone straight to the top of the charts. The guys were ok now and it seems as if Oliver's outburst brought them closer together. Oliver groaned as he fell backwards onto the couch of Evelyn's apartment. His relaxation didn't last long as Luna and Oskar attacked him with kisses. He sat up and made a face at the amount of dog saliva he had across his face. He used the bottom half of his shirt to wipe the saliva away before smiling and playing with the dogs. Evelyn watched with a loving smile as she watched him roughhouse with the dogs. This was going to make things a lot easier.
"Oliver." she softly called and he turned around with a large smile on his face.
"Love." he called back and motioned for her to come sit with him. She walked towards him and was instantly attacked with kisses from him. Her cute giggles turned to obnoxious laughter as he began tickling her sides.
"Oliver! Stop!" He only ignored her, oblivious to the panic that was rising in her eyes. He thankfully stopped not long after his first attack and she climbed onto his lap, interlacing her fingers behind his neck and playing with the hair at the nape of his neck. His hair grew like a weed and was halfway back to its original length.
"How do you feel about children, Sykes?" He exhaled and looked around.
"I'd rather get married first, love." he joked and she chuckled.
"Well then when do you want to plan the wedding because it needs to be quick." He laughed and eventually let it sink in.
"Wait." He noticed she wasn't laughing along and his jaw dropped.
"Are you serious?" She bit her lip and nodded sheepishly. A large grin overtook his shocked expression and he shot up with her clinging to him for dear life.
"Holy fock." he said while spinning her around. He stopped his movement and looked up at Evelyn who was gripping onto his shoulders.
"We're going to be parents. I'm going to be a father." he said airily and tears welled in his eyes. He pulled her closer towards him and held her tight in his embrace.
"How long?" he croaked and she blinked back tears as he buried his face into her hair. This was definitely not the reaction she was expecting.
"Two and a half months." He sat her back down on the couch before sitting in front of her and staring at her stomach with so much pride and love that she began to cry. He gave her a concerned look and she only cried harder.
"Fuck you really are perfect, Oliver." He pulled her into his lap and hummed to her quietly as she calmed herself down.
"I think I should be the one thanking God for you, love." he said once she had calmed down. She giggled and looked at him.
"Somedays I think he made us cross paths as a joke, not thinking it would result to this. And other days I sit and think what my life would be like if it had been just a regular one night stand. Either way I can't see my life without you." she answered and he kissed her deeply.
"Evelyn Rose Sawyer, I am madly in love with you." She went to retaliate her feelings but stopped once she saw him nervously twirling a ring in his hand.
"I wanted to do this live and on stage, but it always slipped my mind." He lifted her onto the couch before kneeling down on one knee in front of her.
"I know it's a little early in our relationship but I promise you're the one I actually want to settle down with. No more cheating and no more divorces. Just you, me, and our unborn child against thousands of screaming fangirls. Lord knows we're going to need each other once they find out about the wedding and baby. So that's why I'm asking you this. Evelyn, will you do the honors of marrying this sorry bastard and making me the happiest man alive?" She didn't even think twice when she nodded. She couldn't speak and instead kept nodding until he grabbed her face with both hands and connected their lips.
"Oh I regret this already." she joked and they both began to laugh.
