"Are you really Oliver's tour fling?" Nicholls asked and he almost died via a drumstick getting thrown at his head. He gave Oliver a wide eyed look and Oliver gave him a pointed look in return.
"Sorry, mate. Bad wording." Evelyn laughed as the two began to argue about privacy.
"They're like giant arse children." Kean stated behind her and Jordan nodded while Lee tuned his guitar next to her. She turned around and nodded her agreement.
"So how did you and Oli actually meet?" Jordan asked quizzically and she shrugged.
"One night stand that happened to be more than just one night and more than a stand." Lee finally made a noise and grunted as he set his guitar down.
"I've known Oli for as long as I can remember and he's an arsehole. But everything that arsehole does is for a reason." Nicholls furrowed his eyebrows and sent a look to Jordan who only shrugged.
"My point being is maybe Alissa and Oliver weren't meant to be just like how he and Hannah weren't meant to be? Maybe Evelyn is the last and final stage? He loved Hannah and look where that went. Straight back to relapsing and the paralysis got worse. Then he met Alissa and the boy was madly in love with that woman. Those two went through so much more in the two years they were married than he and Hannah did in their two years of marriage. He then threw that away by cheating on her with another girl. Oliver Scott Sykes, the one who knows the pain of cheating and vowed to never do it, broke that vow and cheated. Maybe Evelyn's the one he needs to settle down with. Not an edgy tattoo artist that none of us liked or a closed off model that, again, none of us liked. Maybe he needs an outgoing bubbly blonde with really bright green eyes. Oh my God how the fock are they that green?" She shrugged and her eyes slowly drifted to the two who had previously been arguing but were now listening in on the conversation.
"Some of us just have really good genetics." she stated and threw a wink at a zoned out Oliver. He noticed eyes burning into his face and he quickly inhaled while tuning back into the conversation and giving her a confused look. She only giggled and shook her head. Oliver stood up and clapped his hands together.
"Well I need to finish writing a song. Evelyn, come with me for some kind of motivation. Please and thank you, love." He found the lyrics exactly where he had left them and instantly got an uneasy feeling as he remembered who the lyrics were about. He began to hum the instrumental part of the song that the others had gotten stuck in his head from hours of practice and began writing the beginning verse of the song.
"Ooh, I've done it again
Dug a little deep, and it's all caved in
Now I free fall in a black hole
I know I'm getting warm cause I feel so cold"
"Interesting lyric choice." Evelyn said while sitting criss cross in the chair next to him. She untangled her legs and placed them on the ground. Luna yelped as she accidentally stepped on the dog's tail and Evelyn went into a panic.
"I'm so sorry, baby. I promise I didn't mean it." she cooed apologetically to the dog while holding her fluffy body close to hers. Luna's tail whipped violently back and forth as she loved the attention she was getting from Evelyn who had begun to stroke the white fur on the dog's head. Oliver couldn't help but laughed at the sight of such a large dog sitting in the lap of such a small girl.
"Careful, love. She's almost as big as you." he joked and ducked out of the way of both of her flying shoes.
"Next is the chair." she warned but couldn't keep a serious face once she caught sight of his bewildered expression. All focus on the song had scattered and now he wore a smirk as he bolted after the girl who was laughing too hard to notice him. She let out a shocked squeal once his warm arms wrapped around her and her world blurred as he spun her.
"Oliver, I'm going to puke!" she warned and he slowly stopped. He held her still as he placed her down and she swayed forward into his chest. His eyes lifted to see four smirks. 'Marry her' Jordan mouthed and Oliver shook his head. Marry her? He was in the middle of a divorce and the guys already wanted him to marry Evelyn. It was bad enough that this was his second divorce and to make it even worse, he was the one to ruin it this time. Introducing Evelyn to his fans in the middle of a divorce they knew nothing about would only end in hate towards her and a lot of drama on media. He had to still be discrete with her and make sure to mention to her to not tell anyone about them. Especially the media.
"Evelyn." he called and she looked up at him.
"Do you want to be our tour manager for the next tour?" he asked, hoping she would say 'yes' but she looked unsure.
"I have college, Oli." He shook his head.
"Online classes, love. Please come with us." he begged and she pulled from his embrace.
"You know I can't say no to those damn puppy dog eyes you bastard." She went silent for a moment and her face showed her inward argument pretty well.
"I'll see you guys next month. I'm gonna see if I can pull some strings and take online classes." He almost squealed and decided to pull her into a bone shattering hug.
"I thought you needed a tour manager that was alive?" she questioned and he let go, finally composing himself.
"Alright well see you guys. Oli, I'm making ramen." She walked out the build to hear the band arguing with Oliver to try and let them go with him to her apartment.
