"I told you it wasn't focking just nothing!" he barked out as he raced down the highway, Evelyn screaming and in pain.

"Just shut the fuck up and drive! Right now really isn't the time to be arguing who's right or wrong when I'm going into labor!" The highway was empty and Oliver was doing nearly ninety down the lonely highway. He parked the car near the front and helped her get up. A nurse rushed towards her with a wheelchair and another walked along side him as he followed closely behind.

"How far along?" she asked and looked down at a clipboard.

"Seven months." She nodded and turned to stop him.

"Sir it's best-." She got cut off by Evelyn placing her hands on the wheels to stop the wheelchair.

"Oh no. He did this to me. That bastard's going to witness the whole process." she growled out and the nurse waved him along with wide eyes. They made quick work of getting her into a hospital gown and onto the bed. They placed her in stirrups and her first instinct was to push. The doctor walked in to witness Evelyn screaming and pushing while Oliver had to sit down and looked barely conscious. The nurses looked towards the doctor for some sort of guidance for the situation.

"Well let's deliver a baby." he announced and the nurses got to work with hooking up heart monitors and giving pain medication. The room went quiet of all noise except for Evelyn's grunts and screams.

"She's dilated enough. Push Evelyn." She didn't need to be told twice as she began pushing. Oliver was near her in seconds and she squeezed his hand. He winced but didn't pull away.

"Oliver, I swear I'm going to fucking kill you if you ever get me pregnant again!" He nervously chuckled and gulped as he looked towards the doctor with pleading eyes to hurry the delivery up. The doctor began to laugh and Oliver panicked when the grip on his hand loosened. He looked down at Evelyn who was sweating and panting. Their eyes met before turning both their attention towards the shrill cries of their newborn child. The nurses buzzed around the room and Oliver was in too much shock to process what the doctor was saying. Evelyn patting the back of Oliver's thigh and he finally paid attention to the words spoken to him.

"Go cut the umbilical cord, Oliver." He took the scissors from one of the nurses and cut where the doctor instructed.

"Congratulations on your new baby girl." One of the nurses chimed and handed Oliver his daughter after swaddling her in a blanket and checking to make sure everything was ok with both Evelyn and the baby. He slowly walked towards Evelyn while staring down at his daughter's face.

"We did it, Sykes." she said weakly as she reached out for her child. Oliver carefully passed the tiny bundle to Evelyn and pulled a chair next to the hospital bed.

"And yet you never once tried to kill me." he joked and she lightly chuckled.

"Any thoughts on what we're naming her, love?" Evenly looked up at Oliver and shrugged.

"My sister had suggested the other day the name Isabella but my older sister's middle name is Isabella. It would get too confusing at family gatherings. Then I thought of Bella but it didn't flow right with your last name. So I started thinking." She trailed off and looked towards him.

"You want me to name her?" She nodded and gave him a grin. He sighed and ran past every possible name he could think of that had the name Bella incorporated into it.

"Arabella." A smile grew on her face and she nodded. They stared at each other and her heart fluttered.

"God I hope she has your eyes, Oliver." she said softly and he shook his head.

"Correction, love. I hope she has your eyes." She gave him an unimpressed look.

"Then I hope she has your love and passion for music." He snorted and nodded, fully agreeing on that. The doctor came in and Evelyn signed the information sheet on their new daughter while the nurses took Arabella to the NICU.

"Now all we do is wait till tomorrow to leave."
