Our Dad Is JJ Watt

Soccer Game

It was the next week after the kids went to the Badger game and it was Jessica's first soccer game, JJ and Ben came to the house before it was time to head to the game

Clair- "Cody, Jessica your dad and Ben are here".

Cody- (comes downstairs) "Hey dad".

JJ- "Hey bud".

Jessica- (comes downstairs) "Ben!!!!".

Ben- (hugs her) "Hey cutie".

JJ- "Hey what about me?"

Jessica- "Hi daddy". (hugs him)

JJ- "Hi baby". (kisses her head)

Owen- (walks in) "Hey guys welcome".

Ben- "Thanks, so where is that dog of yours?"

Cody- "Max, come here boy". (whistles)

Max comes trotting and wagging tail, he sniffs JJ and Ben then lets them pet him

JJ- "He's a good dog".

Clair- "Oh he for sure is, he follows the kids everywhere around the house".

James- (walks in) "Especially Jessica".

Cody- "I mean he is technically her dog".

Jessica- "Yep". (smiles)

Ben- "Wait was he an Army dog?" (looks at Maxs collar)

Cody- "Yep, Dans brother passed and the family didn't want Max to go back, so our mom and Dan adopted Max and gave him to us on Christmas".

Jessica- "For him being five he still acts like a puppy". (pets Max)

Owen- "Okay well are we ready to go to go to Paige and Jessica's game?"

Jack- "We are ready".

Paige- "Lets go kick some butt Jess".

They leave and go to the game, once they get there Paige and Jessica go and warm up with the team, JJ and Ben sit with Owen, Clair, and the rest of the kids

Ben- "Gotta say never thought I'd be at a soccer game on a Saturday".

JJ- (laughs) "Yeah we would be on the field right about now".

James- "Here we go they're about to start".

Game starts and Jessica is doing very well, Paige passes her the ball and she kicks it and makes a goal

Announcer- "Jessica Watt with a goal, two to zero, wolfies".

Ben- "Man your girl can play JJ".

JJ- (smiles) "Yeah she can".

Jack- "Whoo, go Paige and Jess!!!!!".

The game continued, at the end Paige and Jessica's team won, Jessica scored three goals which was a hat trick Paige score two, also Jessica got to keep the game ball

Coach- "Here ya go Jess, game ball". (hands her the ball)

Jessica- "Thanks coach".

Clair- (walks over to the girls) "Great job girls".

Paige- "Thanks Clair, also Jess where did that come from?"

Jessica- "What?"

Cody- "Sissy you scored a hat trick".

Jessica- "Oh yeah that, I don't know". (laughs)

JJ- "Well whatever it was you did a great job". (picks her up)

Jessica- "Thans dad". (hugs him)

Owen- "So I say we go home, you girls wash up, then ice cream?"

Patty- "Oh yes, also can we have a fire?"

Clair- "Sounds good to me, JJ , Ben would you guys like to stay for ice cream and a fire".

Ben- "Oh you bet". (smiles)

JJ- "I'm down".

They go back home the girls get cleaned up and the they all eat ice cream then when it gets a liitle darker they have a fire

Eric- "James you burnt it". (laughs)

James- "Oops".

Jessica- "He always does that". (laughs)

JJ- "I wouldn't say too much hun". (points at marshmellow)

Jessica- "Dang it".

Cody- (laughs) "You want me to make yours?"

Jessica- "Yes please".

Ben- "You're a good brother Codes".

Cody- "Thanks Ben, here ya go sis". (hands her smore)

Jessica- "Thank you". 

Colt- "Who do you guys play next week JJ?"

JJ- "I think we play Michigan State".

Ben- "Ewww Michigan".

Jessica- (laughs) "Max get your own smore".

Owen- "Uh oh, the smore monster, hold on Max I'll make you one, but with no chocolate".

James- "Cody are you guys home or away next week?"

Cody- "Home".

JJ- "Well we are home too, so I'll be able to make it".

Ben- "I'll be there too".

Jessica- (shivers) 

JJ- "You cold baby?"

Jessica- "A little".

JJ- (picks her up an sets her on his lap and wraps blanket around her) "Better?"

Jessica- "Better". (snuggles into JJ)

Clair- "Well I know it's kinda late, so I thought maybe you two could stay the night so you won't have to travel late".

Ben- "You sure Clair, we don't wanna be a trouble".

Owen- "Oh no we insist, we have two guest bedrooms that you can use".

James- "Make that one, I think Jess might wanna sleep with JJ".

Jessica- (sleeping in JJs arms)

JJ- "I don't mind, I'm gonna put her to bed then sleep as well, Codes wanna show me your guys' room?"

Cody- "Yep". (cody takes him to their room)

Clair- "Okay everyone bedtime".

Everyone goes to bed, Ben takes the guest bedroom and JJ sleeps in Cody and Jessicas room

Cody- "Goodnight dad". (hugs him)

JJ- "Goodnight bud". (kisses his head)

Jessica- "Goodnight daddy". (mumbles in sleep)

JJ- "Goodnight baby girl". (kisses her head and wraps his arms around her then goes to sleep)
