Our Dad Is JJ Watt

Breaking Point

After a couple weeks Jessicas knee started to get better with therepy and the help of JJ, Cody, Kealia, and the others. JJs season started and the kids went to the home games and Cody got to go to an away game, but Jessica had to stay behind because of her knee so Kealia stayed with her, Brooklyn came over for the game as well

Kealia- "So what's the prediction for the game?"

Jessica- "Jaguars don't have a chance 55-35".

Kealia- "That's my girl". (high fives her)

Brooklyn- "Jess you're not mad that Cody got to go are you?"

Jessica- "B I'm not mad I've been to plenty of away games the past years, hopefuly soon I'll be off these crutches".

Kealia- "Let's just hope Cody's luck works with your dad, cause usually he has his two good luck charms with him".

Jessica- "He'll be fine".

They watch the game and the announcer talks about Jessica

Jim- "Did you see JJs post earlier this week, his daughter had to have surgery for a injury she got in a soccer game and she is no longer able to play anymore".

Todd- "I did see that, our thoughts are with her and we hope she has a speedy recover".

Jim- "I talked to JJ earlier today and he said he is focused on this game and even though only his son is at the game today he knows that Jessica is watching and cheering him on".

Todd-"Also Coach Bill Obrien said that this win will be for Jessica".

Kealia- "That was nice of them".

Jessica- "Yeah it was".

Brooklyn- "You okay Jess?"

Jessica- "It's about the game not about me".

Kealia- "Jess you are apart of a NFL family, they care hun".

Jessica- "I know, but today is my dads day not mine".

The game continues and the Texans win with the score Jessica said it would be, Brooklyn goes home the JJ and Cody get home late

JJ- "Hey babe'. (hugs her)

Kealia- "Hey great game".

Cody- "That was a great game".

JJ- "Did Jess enjoy it?"

Kealia- "Well yes and no".

Cody- "What do you mean?"

Kealia- "Jim and Todd talked about your dads ig post, and she felt bad cause today is about football not her".

JJ-"Oh gosh is she okay?'

Kealia- "I don't really know, she's still up, she's in the kitchen".

They go to the kitchen to see Jessica on her computer crying

Cody- "Sis?"

Jessica- "Oh gosh I'm a crying mess".

JJ- "What's wrong hun?"

Jessica- "Looking at the film from the game".

Kealia- "The one where you got injured?"

Jessica- "Yeah, I thought I was fine not going to be able to play anymore, but I'm not". (breaks down)

JJ- (hugs her tight) "We'll get through this okay".

Cody- "The doctor only said she couldn't play soccer anymore right?"

Kealia- "Yeah he did, he didn't say any other sports".

JJ- "What are you getting at Codes?"

Cody- "Well".

Jessica- "Cody I already told you no, I am not playing football".

Cody- "Oh come on please".

Jessica- "Codes, listen that is all you, dad, Uncle TJ and Uncle Derek not me".

Kealia- "Cody don't force your sister okay".

Cody- "Just saying sis think about it". (heads to bed)

JJ- "How about we shut off the computer and go watch some TV".

Jessica- "Okay".

Kealia and JJ help Jessica into the living room, they sit down and watch the Sunday night football game, after a while JJ looks over to Jessica and sees that she's asleep

JJ- "I'm gonna take her to bed babe".

Kealia- "I'll follow you with her crutches".

They take her to bed and tuck her in, after that they go into JJs room and go to bed

JJ- "Night babe". (kisses her)

Kealia- "Goodnight".
