Time To Leave

It was the day that JJ and Ben had to leave for the combine

Jessica- "When will you be back?"

JJ- "As soon as I'm done with everything baby". (kisses her head)

Ben- "You boys behave for your mom now and take care of your cousins".

James- "We will dad".

Jack- "We promise".

Connie- "Good luck boys". (hugs them)

JJ- "Thanks mom".

Ben- "Thanks Connie".

TJ- "Good luck bro". (hugs JJ)

Derek- "Good luck guys".

Ben- "You gonna be able to handle those two".

Nicole- "I'll be fine, plus they'll be busy with Cody and Jess".

John- "Make us proud you two".

Intercom- "Flight 120 to Indianapolis now bording".

JJ- "That's us, come give me hugs".

Cody and Jessica go and hug JJ

Cody- "Love you dad". (hugs him tight)

Jessica- "Love you daddy".

JJ- "Love you guys too, I'll call tonight okay".

Jessic- "Okay".

Ben- "We gotta go J".

JJ and Ben board the flight

James- "You okay sweetie?"

Jessica- "No". (tears up)

TJ- (picks her up) "It will only be a couple days sweetie then he'll be back".

Jessica- "He better be".

Nicole- "Oh hunny". (rubs her back)

Cody- "I think it's because of last time". (sad)

John- "I know buddy, but at least this time you got to say goodbye right and he's coming back". 

Cody- "Yeah".

James- "Come here Jess". (takes her from TJ and calms her down)

Connie- "Are we ready to go then?"

Nicole- "I think we are, James you can go with them okay I don't think Jess will want you to leave". (smiles)

James- "That's fine mom, I'll see you guys at home".

They all leave the airport and head home, once they get home James takes Jessica into the house and sits on the couch with her

Derek- "Hey Jess you'll get to see daddy on TV tomorrow".

TJ- "Isn't that cool?"

Jessica- "Yeah, but I want him home".

Cody- "Sissy, he's doing this so he can get drafted to a team and play in he NFL".

Jessica- "I know I wanted to go though".

Connie- "Oh hunny, if there weren't going to be a lot of people I'm sure daddy would've taken you and Cody".

Cody- "Remember that's what daddy said".

Jessica- "Yeah, I hope he told Uncle Ben not to mess up his running". (smiles)

James- "There's that smile, and how dare you say that". (laughs)

Nicole and Jack come over

Nicole- "Hi sweetie".

Jessica- "Hi Aunt Nicole".
