Flashback to when Grandpa Watt passed
JJ and the kids were back in Wisconsin since it was the end of the football season, JJs parents ad brothers weren't home because they went on a little vacation. JJ got a call from his dad saying the facility that his grandpa was at said that he wasn't doing well so he should go over and see him. JJ took the kids with him, but had Nicole come with to take them.
JJ- "Okay you guys are gonna go in and say hi then you're going with Aunt Nicole".
Cody-"Okay".
They walk into the room, when Grandpa saw them his eyes lit up
GW- "Hey guys". (weak voice)
Jessica- "Hi grandpa". (holds his hand)
Cody- "We just wanted to see you before we went over to Uncle Bens". (holds other hand)
GW- "Well I am glad you did, I love you guys okay".
Jessica- "Love you too".
Cody- "Love you".
JJ- "I know you would have wanted to see them so I brought them".
GW- "Thank you J".
Nana- "He was asking about you guys so I'm glad you brought them also".
JJ- (smiles) "I know he would have wanted to see them one more time".
Cody- "Is it time for us to go then dad?"
JJ- "Yeah it is bud, I'll come and get you guys later ok".
Jessica- "Okay dad, love you grandpa". (hugs him)
Cody- "Love you grandpa". (hugs him)
GW- (hugs them tight) "Love you guys too".
The kids leave with Nicole then JJ sits down and talks to grandpa
JJ- "Dad called me they are still at the airport".
GW- "J, just promise me one thing".
JJ- "What's that".
GW- "Let those kids of yours follow their dreams, like your parenst did".
JJ- "Of course grandpa". (holds his hand)
GW- "I am so proud of you, your brothers, and the kids J you have no idea".
JJ- "I know grandpa and I'm gonna continue to make you proud, with the Watt name".
Grandpa begins to close his eyes, the heart monitor goes off, he has passed
Nana- (starts to cry) "Oh god".
JJ- (hugs her) "Love you grandma".
Nana- "Love you too J".
After the nurses come in, JJ heads out and calls his mom and dad to tell them that grandpa has passed, JJ follows his grandma home to make sure she is ok then he goes to Bens to get the kids
Nicole- (opens the door) "Oh JJ I'm so sorry". (hugs him)
JJ- (hugs her) "Thank you".
Ben- "So sorry man". (hugs him)
JJ- (hugs him) "Thanks man".
The kids see JJ, and hug him JJ starts to cry and so do the kids
Cody- "Love you dad". (hugs him tighter)
JJ- (kisses their heads) "Love you guys too".
They leave Bens and head back home when they get there they see that his parents and brothers are home, TJ and Derek run to JJ and hug him
Derek- "Love you bro".
TJ- "Loev you J".
JJ- "Love you guys too". (hugs them tighter)
Cody- (hugs Jon) "Love you papa".
Jon- "Love you too bud".
Connie- (hugs Jessica) "Love you sweetie".
Jessica- "Love you too grandma".
They all hug eachother, a couple days later was Grandpas funeral, after the funeral they had dinner told some fun stories then Jon gave something to JJ
Jon- "He would've wanted you to have it".
JJ- "His dog tags". (puts them on)
Connie- "All I know is that he is going to be looking down at you boys and the kids all the time".
TJ- "And I'm sure we are making him proud".
Derek- "Defiantly".
