It was the day after the draft JJ had to fly to Houston and be down there a couple days, while Ben had to head back to Wisconsin. JJ met the coach signed his contract and took pics. Jessica and Cody also went with him to meet some of the coaches and staff and also because JJ was looking at houses.
Cody- "Dad this place is huge".
JJ- "I know, Jess what do you think?"
Jessica- "I think they made the right choice".
Rick- (laughs) "That's what we like to hear, JJ I didn't know about these two till the draft".
JJ- "Yeah I was keeping it on the down low for a bit because of media".
Rick- "I completely understand where you're coming from, if I was in the situation you were in I would've done the same".
JJ- "Thanks Rick, I appreciate it".
They head into the head coaches office
Rick- "Hey Gary you got some vistitors".
Gary- "JJ come on in, now I met your daddy now who are you two?"
Cody- "I'm Cody".
Jessica-"And I'm Jessica".
Gary- "Nice to meet you guys, I'm coach Kubiak, but you can call me Coach K".
Jessica- "Okay". (smiles)
JJ- "Thank you so much coach for welcoming us with open arms".
Gary- "No problem JJ, welcome to the team, and also welcome to the Texan family".
Cody- "Are we apart of it too?"
Gary- "Of course if your dad is you guys are".
Jessica- "Yes!".
JJ- (laughs) "Well thanks for letting me introduce you to the kids, we gotta get going, house hunting".
Gary- (laughs) "Oh the joys of gettin drafted, see ya soon JJ".
JJ and the kids leave the facilty and go back to their hotel for the rest of the day then they would be looking at houses the next day
JJ- "Did you guys have fun?"
Jessica- "Yep".
Cody- "It was soo cool".
JJ- "Alright we ate, we had showers, brushed teeth, now what?"
Jessica- "Movie time". (gets movie)
JJ and them lay on the bed and start watching the movie, JJ looks over a while later and sees that both of them fell asleep. He puts Cody in the other bed, then puts the covers over Jessica in their bed. He kisses both of their heads turns off the lights then gets into bed with Jessica then goes to sleep himself
