It was finally the week of training camp and on one of the days the players families got to come to practice. In the morning TJ and Derek surprised Cody and Jessica with Connie and John
Door Knocks
Cody- "I'll get it". (opens door)
TJ- "Surprise!!!!".
Jessica- "Uncle TJ!!!". (runs and hugs him)
Cody- "Uncle Derek!!!". (hugs him)
Derek- "Hey guys".
John- "Hey what about papa?"
Jessica- "Hi papa". (hugs him)
Cody- "Hi grandma". (hugs her)
Connie- "Hi sweetie".
JJ- "Hey guys". (hugs them all)
Max comes over and jumps for joy, after they get into the house Cody and Jessica take Dereks and TJs stuff to their rooms, Derek will be sleeping with Cody and TJ with Jessica. JJ helps his parents put their bags in the guest bedroom
Jessica- "Is it almost time to go?"
JJ- (picks her up) "Sure is sweetie, are we all ready to go?"
Cody- "Yep".
The kids and JJ go in his truck while Connie, John, and the boys follow them in their rental, once they get to the stadium the kids go with TJ, Derek, Connie, and John while JJ goes and gets ready
JJ- "See you guys soon okay, Meagan will be waiting for you guys".
Cody- "Okay dad".
JJ goes to get ready and they go to the practice bubble and meet up with Meagan
Jessica- "Aunt Meagan!!". (hugs her)
Meagan- "Hey sweetie".
Cody- "Meagan these are our Uncle TJ and Derek and our Grandma Connie and Papa John".
Meagan- "Nice to meet you guys". (hugs them)
Connie- "Nice to meet you too hun".
TJ- "This place is so cool".
Meagan- "I know when Brian got drafted here I couldn't believe how big everything was".
John- "I have to say they drafted some great players, Brian is excellant".
Coach K walks up to them
Gary- "There they are".
Jessica- "Hi Coach". (hugs him)
Gary- "How you guys doing?"
Cody- "We're doing good".
Gary- "Connie, John nice to see you guys".
Connie- "Nice to see you too Coach".
Gary- "And these two must be TJ and Derek".
TJ- "Yep nice to meet you sir". (shakes hand)
Derek- "Nice to meet you". (shakes hand)
Gary- "Nice to meet you guys too, so I was wondering Jessica and Cody do you wanna coach today?"
Jessica- "Really?"
Gary- "Yeah you can boss you dad around a bit and the others".
Cody- "Oh boy yes!!!".
Meagan- (Laughs) "Be extra hard on Uncle Brian".
The players come out warm up and do some drills then Coach K tell them that Cody and Jessica are taking over
