Our Dad Is JJ Watt

Surgery

It was the day of JJs surgery, Connie and John flew into Houston to be with him. They took him into surgery early and Jessica went back to sleep

John- "Must be the jet lag".

Kealia- "She literally flew from Boston to here last night".

Connie- "I can't believe it either, that boss of hers is a nice man".

Cody- "He really is, I mean Uncle Hunter is related to him for crying out loud".

The doctor comes back in

Doctor- "Well everything went well and he is now in recovery, we will bring him back in a bit".

Connie- "Thank you".

Kealia- "Should we wake Jess?".

John- "I would just wait and wake her up once he gets to the room".

Cody- "After he gets here I have to go, Brooklyn has an appointment".

The nurse brings JJ back and he is awake

Kealia- "Hey babe". (kisses his head)

JJ- "Hey, hey Codes".

Cody- "Hey dad, listen I don't mean to leave so soon, but I gotta make sure your grandchild is healthy".

JJ- "No problem bud, see ya later".

Connie- "How you feeling?"

JJ- "Okay, where's Jess?"

John- "Oh gosh I forgot to wake her".

Kealia- (shakes Jessica) "Hun your dad is back".

Jessica- (wakes up) "Hey dad".

JJ- "Hey sweetie".

Jessica- (sits by his bed) "Everything okay?"

Doctor comes in

Doctor- "Everything is good, also JJ I don't really know the answer now, but in a few months we'll see if you can play again".

Kealia- "What do you mean again?"

Doctor- "Well the injury that he has is kinda like the one Jess had, but we won't be able to determine till next month".

Connie- "Oh gosh".

Doctor- "Other than that, you are free to leave tomorrow, have a good afternoon". (leaves)

Jessica- "You good dad?"

JJ- "I'm not even gonna think about that right now".

John- "Do you need us to run to the house to get you anything J?"

JJ- "I don't think so, Jess brought me some clothes last night for today and tomorrow".

Cody and Brooklyn come back

Connie- "Hey you two".

Brooklyn- "Hey Connie, hi JJ". (hugs him)

Kealia- "So how's the baby".

Cody- (looks at Brooklyn and gets a nod) "He is doing just fine".

Jessica- "It's a boy?"

Brooklyn- "It's a boy".

JJ- "Another Watt boy". (smiles)

Kealia- "Oh no Jess". (laughs)

John-"Congrats you two".

Brooklyn- "We just announced it, we decided not to do a gender reveal".

Jessica- (phones rings) "Hello?"
