Can I just say thank you?

I started this story with no expectations. Heck, it was one of my first fanfics. I started off writing two years ago. I always wrote by myself, saved the small stories on a google doc, and never showed them to anyone. I was embarrassed and I still can't even show my fanfics to my mother. She writes fanfiction, so it's a little sad that I still feel as though I can't show them to her. 

Having written fanfic for two years now, I can't tell you how happy I am to see you guys enjoying this story. I want to thank all of the people who supported the story as I was publishing it and trusted the process. Thank you for not giving up on me. Thank you for always commenting encouraging words, and thank you for enjoying the story. 

Back when I started this story, I was still quite an amateur, despite writing for so long. I had no real plan for the story, but that gave me the freedom to change it at any time. I never plan the plotlines for my stories, but that gives me so much creative room. I can always change something, and I won't have to rearrange the entire story along with that minor change. That gave me the ability to create this story.

Last of all, I wanted to give you some fighting words like you guys gave me.

You can do it. This is a hard time to get through. You may not be able to see your friends, or you may be stuck at home all day through boredom. The days are long, sometimes tiring, and yes, you can be sad about everything. The world is really fucked up right now. It's okay to be sad about that. But, don't let yourself fall for too long. Pick yourself back up through the things you love, and you can come out more confident. The world may be against you, but you can turn your back on it and walk. Walk to your future, and leave all the things that chained you to the ground behind. That way, you'll end up as the ones that lived. You may not understand it now, but you'll understand it when you feel free. You can have that freedom. You can love yourself. You can. Now, go live your life, you awesome person!
