When should I end this series?

--

I walked out of the classroom with Pharm following closely behind me. We were both holding our now empty trays of food. We found the nearest trashcan, threw away any leftovers that wouldn't get eaten, and put our trays on top of the platform above the can.

"We still have thirty minutes left before lunch break ends... You don't have to stay with me if you don't want to."

I said to Pharm.

He shook his head.

"I want to make sure that you aren't alone in this. I'm sure you're having a very rough time."

I nodded and looked at the cement ground before me.

"But, I still don't think this is a good idea. Avoiding him will only make it worse."

He said, in a stern voice.

Pharm had something to do, so he had to leave my side for a bit. But, he promised he would come back as soon as he could.

After he left, I realized that I left my book for the next class in my locker near the pool. I mentally slapped myself for leaving it there and headed out of the door of the classroom. I walked to the locker room, checking like a meerkat that Win was nowhere near me. When I walked in there, I unlocked my locker, and grabbed the book, and turned around. When I turned around, the last person I needed to see was right there. My eyes quickly explored the room, looking for a way out, but there was none. There was only one door to the locker room.

"Where have you been?"

He asked, but it didn't sound as warm as his voice normally is.

It sounded... Infuriated.

"I-"

"Save it."

He interrupted.

I looked down. I didn't want to make eye contact with him. He seemed so mad.

"Did you think that avoiding me would be a good idea?"

I remained silent.

"Why did you avoid me?!"

His voice seemed heartbroken. I didn't know what to say.

"Oh okay... I see..."

I looked up, wondering if he finally got why I needed to avoid him.

"You don't want me anymore..."

My eyes flew open. Did he seriously think I didn't love him anymore?

"Win-"

"Shut up!"

Before I had even realized it, my hand had lifted to reach him. But I couldn't.

"If you didn't want me, why didn't you just tell me? Why did you do all of this if you didn't love me?"

My eyes, now filling with broken tears, were still wide open from his words.
