Sage

I woke up in a small candle lit room and the smell of incense and nightshade filled my senses. I was in a cosy little bed, tucked in so snug I almost pulled the blanket back up and went back to sleep when my brain suddenly did a three sixty and everything came rushing back - it all happened so soon. The breakout, Axel, the witch and that was it.

Everything went blank.

I was in a bed, alive, in a fresh pair of clothes. Which means whatever plan they had, worked. Or did it? My eyes instinctively wandered around the room before it landed on a lean figure leaning against the window, looking out.

"Arabella?" I narrowed my eyes to make sure it was her.

She turned around and a bright smile stretched across her face when her eyes landed on me.

"I thought you were going to be out till morning" she grabbed a blood bag from the table beside her and walked towards the bed. She sat down and handed me the glass.

"Drink up, you're weak" her smile faded out a little, but I was too intoxicated by the smell of blood to ask questions.

I grabbed the bag and drank it dry in a matter of minutes. "I need more" I threw the bag on the little side table and had just noticed the grimm expression on her face.

"What?" I pushed myself forward and a sudden fear hit me "Where is everyone?" .

No.

Why do the worst case scenarios always kick in first?

"We're in Wallough. We.."

"Phoenix's land" I mumbled "oh my gosh" my fingers reached my lips instinctively "Where is Axel?" I darted off the bed and rushed to the door. I swung the door open and tried to run only to collide with an invisible wall.

"What the hell are you doing?" I whipped around, bearing my fangs. They must be at each other's throats by now. Oh my gosh! The paranoia was getting worse by the damn second.

"I'll tell you. You need to calm down first" the tone of her voice was that of a person delivering word of death and it only made my hair stand on edge.

I walked over to the bed with my hand on my chest and my head filled with curiosity.

"How do you feel?" she looked at me like she was inspecting every inch of me, scanning me from head to toe from a safe distance.

"I'm fine. Where is everyone else?"

"Everyone is perfectly alright and  are you sure you feel alright?" she cocked a questioning brow.

And that's when I felt it. A sick feeling...it wasn't anything physical. It was more so an instinct. Like something was indeed different and I couldn't quite understand it.

"Anything else besides the natural blood lust?" she took a step closer with caution. What the hell is wrong with her?

"Yes, Arabella" I smiled at her "I feel impatience and the sudden urge to gouge your eyes out if you keep looking at me like that"

She ran her hand through her hair and let out a deep breath.

"Spill"

"I don't know how to put this" she snapped back, running her hand through her hair once again.

"Just say it!" i couldn't stand this anymore. I was so worried about Axel and Ezra, but at the same time Arabella kind of had me locked down here so there was not much I could do.
