Chapter 38: "Life is not about the amount of breaths you take, it's the moments that take your breath away." - Hitch

I groaned and turned my back on the ray of sun. I opened my eyes and smiled as I saw my husband's handsome face. More than a year of waking up next to him, and I still can't get enough. When I wake up earlier than he does, this is what I like doing; stare at his face.

More than a year of being married to this wonderful man, and I still love him. More than I did  when we were just boyfriend-girlfriend. I've got clingier to him, as well.

"Good morning, hon-hon!"

"Morning," he muttered sleepily. "What time is it?"

"Time to get up. Seven na."

My first class is at 8:30am while Shin is at 10am. We showered together which took longer than usual.

"Get dressed," he said.

"Wait lang. Pinagod mo ako, hon-hon. Five minutes."

Napangiti ako at nagpasalamat. I got up and went to get my undies. Mabilisan akong nagbihis.

"Your hair is still wet."

Mama Shelley packed breakfast for us. Kumain na kami habang nasa daan. Sinusubuan ko na lang si Shin. He walked me to my room. When I shifted to nursing, I realized that 99 percent of the female nursing students go gaga over him.

"Ang gwapo talaga ng hubby mo. Pahiram," biro ni Miggy. He's gay but it isn't obvious since he still dresses and acts like a man.

"Tse! Akin lang anga asawa ko."

"Damot!

I was so anxious at first because I expected everyone to have their own group of friends. But Miggy, Sue and I hit it off on my first day as a nursing student.

The funny thing was, they both had a huge crush on my husband. Thus, they were pretty stunned when they saw Shin at the parking lot waiting for me.

We need to be there early!"

He told me to stop accepting money from Pops. He lets me buy whatever I want. But even if he's generous, I refuse to take advantage of his generosity.
