Second Chances

Having A Moment

The entire Pride arrived at the dig site on their luxurious cars. As they all got out of their cars to meet Jonah, the runaways were already in the hole.

As Jonah rages on about the ship, Chase and Molly came up being carried by Karolina. "Where's my sister?!" Hana came running towards them.

"I'm going back for Nico..." Karolina claimed as Nico jumped out of the hole.

Gert and Alex came running as they all hugged each other. Hana bit her lip, "Thank God, you guys are okay."

"Oh my God, Hana!" Molly runs to hug Hana.

"I was so worried." Hana admitted, as she hugs Nico.

"We were worried about you," Alex tries to catch his breathe, "you stayed behind. We worry that they'd hurt you."

Nico snorts, "No chance of that happening, she's mom's favorite."

Then the earth started rumble, "Earthquake!" Hana screams.

Tina immediately ran towards her daughters and covered their heads.

"See? Favorite." Nico sighs, straightening up. "Screw this!" Nico held up the staff and said a spell, "Stop the ship!"

"No Nico!" Karolina yelled, "It's too strong!"

But Nico didn't listen, Hana grabs her bow and arrow and started shooting flaming arrows at the alien.

"Wait!" Molly yelled and pointed, "Look!"

Nico and Hana dropped their weapons. Hana gasped, "What the hell is that?!"

Stacey and Dale began shooting the light, as Nico fell backwards, unconscious.

"Why isn't it working?!" Tina demanded.

"It's hers, completely..." Robert looked at his unconscious daughter.

Hana walked sideways, "No time to contemplate the magic, mother... you need to do something!" Hana shot several arrows that burst into flames.

As everyone went down, Nico finally stood up and slowly walked behind Jonah and jumped in the air and stabbing the alien on the back, killing it.

After everything was done, all the parents ran to hug their children.

"Nico, come home." Tina sighs.

"Please, Nico." Robert begged.

Nico sighs and whispers, "Sleep."

All the parents fell asleep, Nico started walking away, "Let's go, before they wake up." Nico offered her hand to her older sister, "You coming?"

"I'm sorry, sister," Hana shook her head, "but I can't. You might not need them, but they need their child." Hana then sighs, "You guys go, like you said they wouldn't dare hurt me."
