Hana walks in the kitchen, "Marvelous day, isn't it?"

Robert, who was arranging a chocolate basket, asked, "And why would that be?"

Hana smirks, "Cause it's March 14..."

"I am aware that it's White Day." Robert annoyed.

Hana leans against the wall, "I don't have to make a present... even if I got many Valentine's."

"Oh shit!" Robert took out, what was to be brownie, ash from the oven. "How much did your mother spent on my gift?"

Nico grabs a bottle of water from the fridge, "No idea."

Robert looks at Hana, who shrugs, "Your guess is as good as mine, dad."

Robert sighs, "Then I'm gonna need you..."

Hana looks up worried, "For what?"

"I'm going to have to apologize to your mom." Robert sighs, "And you are the only one who can give her" Robert took tray of, what was supposed to be brownies, "glare perfectly..."

Hana walks closer to her father, "What's in it for me?"

Robert took out his wallet out, "How bout $300?"

Hana snatched the cash from her father's hand, "Done!"

Nico chuckled, "He would have given you 500."

"And I would have done it for free." Hana smirked, "Go." Hana put her hair up in a bun and placed her hands on her hips. Facing Robert, Hana impatiently sighed, "Go..."

Nico sat down on the the stool. Robert shook his head, "This is too weird. I can't..."

Hana sighs in relief and smiles, "Thank God!" Hana drops her hands and let's her hair down, "But if you are gonna apologize to her, you need help..." Hana takes her coffee cup and sips, "I'll help, don't worry."

Robert smiles grateful, "Thank you? But how much?"

"This is free..." Hana smirks.

Robert doubtedly looked at his daughter, "Why?"

Hana laughs, "Because, contrary to popular belief- at least here- I actually, care about family and I don't want to see it torn into pieces. Therefore, I will help you."

"Is it just me," Nico asks, "or is she scarier than mom?"

Hana pursed her lips, "I would need you to swear..."

"Swear what?" Robert inquired.

"Swear that you will leave your pride behind." Hana explains.

Robert chuckles, "I swear."

"Nico, pen and paper." Hana snaps her fingers. Nico hands her sister the items and Hana sat down, "Okay, I will write down what you will say, to help you organize your thoughts. So, start your speech..."

Robert awkwardly chuckles, "After almost three decades I am glad you remembered Valentine's day and even went out of your way to get me a gift. But I am a rotten husband I forgot to get you a gift for White Day, I am sorry for everything." Robert looks at his daughters, "How was that?"

Hana and Nico exchanged looks and Hana rips up the paper, "Good, that's all you need. Speak from the heart."

"You forgot about White Day?" Tina's voice was meak and tears were threatening to drop from her eyes.

Robert turned to see his wife on the verge of tears. Hana sighs, "Speak from the heart..."

Robert grabs Tina's hand, "Tina, I am a shitty husband that these past years I couldn't see anything but my pain and ignore your desperate cry for help. You've also lost our daughter, and instead of understanding that I've cheated on you. And now, I forgot White Day, all I got you was this..." Robert gives the basket to Tina, "I am so sorry."

Tina puts the basket on the counter and kisses Robert. "Thank you. You've given me a family, I couldn't ask for anything more."

Nico grins, "A+ apolpgy, dad."

Tina laughs as Robert looks at Hana, "How bout you, Hana?"

Hana smiles as she puts the cup down, "A for Affort."

"What?!" Robert demands, "Explain."

"It was a good apology, great even, tugs on the heartstring, but our reactions shouldn't matter. The only reaction that should matter is mom's." Hana sighed and stood up, "Now, if you don't mind; I am gonna go explain what White Day is to Molly..."

Molly stood by the door, as Hana walks towards her. "Let's go?" Hana invited.

Molly sighs and follows Hana out the door, "What's 'white day'?"

"It's a Japanese 'holiday' that ties in with Valentine's day." Hana explains, "Valentines is for women in Japan to give gift to a man they like. White day is when that man gives every women that gifted him on Valentines a gift that typically matches the price of the woman's gift."

"So, what did your mom get your dad for Valentine's day?" Molly asked.

Hana shrugs, "A couch..."

"A couch?" Molly disbelieving.

"A red Italian leather couch..." Hana sighs as she unlocked her car. "That she had delivered from Italy to his office."

Molly went to the passenger seat, "That's a little excessive..."

"Tell me about it." Hana closes the driver side, as she puts on her seatbelt and starts the engine.
