Helping Hand

Five minutes later, Hana waited outside. A young man came out of the back seat of the car. she then went towards Hana and bowed, "Your majesty." she was stifling a chuckle.

Hana chuckle, "Come here." The person stood up to see Hana with her arms stretch out.

She immediately hugged Hana, "I've missed you, Ate."

Hana nods, "Oh these are my parents, Robert and Tina Minoru. Guita's cousin, Sal."

Tina instinctively grabs Robert's arm. "I'm worried." Tina whispered.

"So, anyways, Ate, what did you need help with?" Sal asked.

"Follow me." Hana led her to the lab. "We need help assembling this thing..."

"Okay, cool." Sal sat down, "Got the directions?"

"It's in Korean..." Hana hands over the book.

"What?" Sal looks over the book, "Need help with Korean?"

"No," Hana shook her head, "it's the wiring... I need your help with..."

"Okay, fine." Sal nod, "First step?"

"블루 와이어빨간색으로." Hana read aloud.

"You are speaking Korean." Sal chuckled.

"Oh," Hana grins, "sorry, Blue wire to red."

Sally sighs, "We all know you're smart, you don't have to keep reminding us... anyways, hand me the pliers..."

Hana walks over to the tool wall and grabs the pliers, "Here."

"Thanks, so any reason why you called me?"

"Like I said I needed help..." Hana sighs.

"Nope, you're hiding from something... what is it?"

"Okay, the woman we are going to revive was my father's ex lover..."

"And we are reviving her because..."

"Because, as much as I hate her," Hana sat down, "my parents are together, my sisters and I have a complete family; one of our friend is her son. And who the hell am I to refuse her son a complete family?!"

"Well, I'm almost done here, Ate." Sal smiles.

"I'll go call Mr. Stein."

"Hanga ako sa'yo, Ate..." Sal calls back, "kung nasa posisyon mo ko hindi ko kayang iforgive sya. I would probably let her stay dead."

Hana waves back. "Guys?" Hana calls, as soon as she got to the dining room. "C'mon it's time."

Victor immediately went to the lab, followed by Robert and Tina. As Hana walks in to the lab, she saw Sal connecting the computer wires to the device. Hana sighs as she placed a strand of blonde hair on the device. "Push the button, Kronk!" Hana calls out.

Sal chuckles, as she pushed the button, and the device began to produce light, Janet started to glitch, "See you, on the other side."

Hana sighs, as the lights went out. "What the fuck happened?!" Victor demanded, "Somebody get the light!"

"I got it." Hana snapped her fingers and her flames started dancing on her fingertips. "Okay, anybody got a pho- what am I saying- phone please..."

Tina gave her phone to Hana, "The passcode's..."

"For the CEO of one of the best tech company, you really need to upgrade the security system of your phone..." Hana with one hand turned the brightness all the way up, and flashed the light towards the device. Hana looks at Sal, "Wrong button?" Sal laughs. "Why do we even have that stupid button?" Hana grumbled.

After the backup generator kicked in, they all saw Janet's body on the device. Victor held her hand, "It worked." he began to tear up, "Janet, honey."

Janet's eyes snapped open and she sat up. She embrace her husband, "I'm back..."

"Ate, she's not a robot." Sal observed. "How?"

"I have no clue." Hana admits.

"Your magic is fire. Gives life..." Sam analyze.

Tina's sad look came unnoticed to everyone but Hana and Robert. Hana sighs and whispers, "Here comes the regret... Great job, Kronk."

Sal looked at Hana, "I'm really sorry, Ate."

"Why 'Ate'?" Victor questions.

"It means older sister or a female older than yourself by like 19 years." Sal responds. "After, 20 years its 'Tita' then 50 years age difference its 'Lola'."

Hana breaths, "The male equivalents are 'Kuya', 'Tito', and 'Lolo'."

"Okay," Sal looks at Hana, "what's your angle here?"

"My angle?" Hana questioned.

"What's your ulterior motive?" Chase asked as he came down stairs. "We all know you hate mom... so what's your angle?"

"No angle..." Hana shrugs, "Just being nice..."

"Why?" Janet asked.

"I'm naturally nice..." Hana smirked.

"Right?" Chase sarcastically said.

"Actually out of all my daughters," Robert sighs, "she's the nicest one."

"It's just that when you pissed her..." Tina admits.

"Don't." Hana finished, "Or you'd wish you died... cause I love to torture my victims."
