If she's to runaway, she won't be like her sister or her friends. No, Hana would cross the ocean just to get away; she'd make sure she's impossible to follow. Hana's intelligent, wealthy, young woman; yet she has a temper. A temper that is so fierce that it blinded her to common sense and would lead her to trouble.
Hana lived in the badside of West LA til she was about nine or ten. She can survive anything. She was sent to Tokyo, as a 17 year old, where her distant cousins mistreated her, made her into their servant. She can survive anything. At age 21 she built a company without anyone's helped from the ground up. Now as a 27 year old, she had found herself again alone and hurt.
Going back to Tokyo was the only way out of this mess but is she really ready to leave her responsibility, her promise to her deceased sister? No, she wasn't; but she also couldn't stay home, where she'll be controlled.
Hana knocked on a door. Guita answered and gestured her friend to come in. "I have no where else to go..." Hana sighs as she sits down.
Guita gave her friend a cup of tea, "You can stay here... for as long as you want."
"Thanks." Hana smiled weakly.
"So what did happen?" Guita asked.
"My parents... they found out the truth about George." Hana twirling the teaspoon in the cup.
Guita sighs, "I understand, I know how difficult it was to dodge the namecalling at Atlas, I was witnessed to that. I couldn't imagine how difficult it is to hear your parents tell you the same thing."
Hana sees the article posted on the window on Guita's laptop. "Mrs. Catherine Wilder, Lawyer, died in jail." Hana sighs, "Why are you reading this?"
"I have no clue," Guita shrugs, "it's very interesting. I mean she's a lawyer that murdered a man... Darius Davis, I think... and as far as I know his widow Tamar has friends inside and is now married to Mr. Wilder. Wait a minute, weren't they a part of Pride with your parents?"
Hana scans the article, "Do we know any lawyer in criminal cases?"
"Ashley Jenkins is a pro bono lawyer for criminal case..." Guita replied, "I'll text you her address..."
"Thanks." Hana smiles and leaves.
