Everyone deserves a second chance, right? Hana Minoru will have to learn this the hard way... Tina gave Robert a second chance. Can Hana give both her parents another chance?

"Mom!" Hana called from down the stairs. "Come on! I said, jeans and blouse..."
"You're kidding, right?" Nico snorts, "Mom in jeans, is like a dog walking on two legs... it's impossible..."

Tina walks down the stairs and Hana smiles, "And you were saying?"
"It's snowing in hell..." Nico shook her head.
"Let's go, are we taking your car or mine?" Robert asked Tina.
Hana smirked, "And the wheels on the bus..."
Tina's eyes widened, "You want us to take public transportation?!"
Hana walks out of the mansion, without answering.
"Is she-" Tina turns to her younger daughter.
Nico followed her sister, as they walk up to the bus stop, Hana stood next to the post. "Chinita!" an elderly man called out. Hana ignored him, but he was persistent. "You look like the Wizard bitch only taller..."
Hana turns around, as Tina and Robert walked up to them. "Hi."
"What?" Tina asked.
The elderly man turns to see Tina and Robert. "Oh..." the man looks at his feet.
Hana smirks, as the bus arrived. "Let's go. By the way, thank you."
"For what?" Robert asked.
"Just," Hana sighs, "for being here..."
"You're welcome, honey." Robert smiles.
Hana sat back, as Tina chuckles, "The last time I took the bus, you were still sitting on my lap."
Hana shook her head, "My last bus ride was four-"
"Hours ago..." Nico chuckled, "to answer a booty call..."
"A booty call?!" Robert and Tina both looked at Hana.
"Seriously?!" Hana shocked, "A booty call is more Nico style than mine..."
A few minutes later, Hana and her family finally got off the bus.
"From you, cause let's be real, you would sell dad and I." Nico smirks, "So, I called Molly."
"Why just me and you, Nico?" Robert asked.
"Cause, she won't sell mom," Nico claimed, "she'll torture her first."
"I won't even argue with you..." Hana smirked, "Let's just go."
A few houses down, there was a teenage girl with braids in her hair. "Gran," the girl called, "they're here!"
An elderly woman opened the door to the house. "Oh Hana," the woman wrapped her beefy brown arms around Hana, "you're looking beautiful..."
"Thanks, Mrs. Bernard." Hana smiled.
The woman grabbed Hana's shoulders, "Grandma Tati..."
Hana nods, "Yes, I forgot, Gram Tati."
"That's more like it; come on in, I made some cornbread and sweet potato pies." Tati smiled as she wrapped her left arm on Hana's shoulders and escorted her in the house.
Once inside, "Gram Tati, these are my folks, Robert Minoru and Tina Minoru, my little sister, Nico, and Molly Hernandez." Hana introduced. "Mom, dad, this is Tatiana Bernard, Andre's maternal grandmother. The woman who raised him and his sister, Ruby."
"It's a pleasure to meet you, Mrs. Bernard." Robert shook Tati's hand.
"Can we just say that your grandson is an incredible doctor?" Tina complimented, "He saved my husband's life twice."
"Call me Tati." Tati nodded. "Where is your brother, Ruby?"
Ruby looks up, "Stuck in traffic. He said 30 minutes."
"Well, the pie isn't cooked, yet..." Tati admitted, "45 minutes more. So make yourselves at home, I'll just go check on the pie..."
"I'll help." Hana offers and heads to the kitchen.
Nico and Molly sat side by side, as Robert and Tina look over the medals, certificates, pictures, and trophies that adorned the wall by the TV set. "Tina," Robert pointed at one of the certificates, "look."
Tina walks up to see a framed certificate of the Minoru Scholarship rewarded to Andre Felip George. "He was the scholarship winner." Tina looked shocked.
"Our daughter's going out with the winner of the scholarship we sponsored." Robert looked at his wife worried.
Tina frowned.
"And so..." Nico asked, "Hana fell for the kid you helped, so what?!"
"We need to protect her." Tina looks at Robert.
"Protect her?" Nico repeated, "From what, exactly? From happiness? Love? Having a life?"
Robert hurried into the kitchen, "We're leaving."
"What?!" Hana asked giving the tray to Tati, as she followed her father to the house across the street. "Why?"
"You didn't mention that George was the scholarship winner." Tina looks at Hana.
"So he was..." Hana waved it off.
"Hey!" Tina grabs Hana's hand, "We're trying to protect you from what others would think."
Hana drops her hand, "Let people think what they want... I don't care... I love him and he loves me."
"You're 26 what do you know about love?" Robert asked.
Tina was shaking her head.
Hana straightened up, "You were 24, when you got mom pregnant! Don't tell me that I know nothing about love because of my age, when we all know that I had to grow up fast to protect people I care about from you, two." Hana leaves.
"Okay?" Nico looked at her parents, "What the hell is wrong with you, two?! Hana's happy, why are you trying to ruin that?"
"She'll thank us later..." Robert sighs.
Nico shocked, "You know why she didn't tell you about HM Tech? She started the company when she was 21... she didn't tell us because she didn't want to be controlled by you, mom. At 24, she told dad- three years after it started- she knew that by telling anyone will undoubtedly go back to you and you'd try to take over her company, thus controlling her. If you think that she'd comeback this time you're dreaming."
