Last night I accidentally voted on a story. My fingers slipped and I didn't even notice until the author was thanking me.

The story was horrible and so cliche that I had dozed off. You guys know that feeling right? Anyway I told him/her that I loved it and it'll be great if he/she could smooth some edges around the book which he/she agreed on.

Doing a background check(visiting the profile page) I realised they had over 1k followers. I'm currently reading their other books and I am LOVING them!

Lesson: NEVER look down on an author, even if their book's complete shit. Every writer begins with a shitty story, just take a look at the original OSCIN for example and that's not even my shittiest!

Huge gates stared at me in an almost taunting manner, as if reminding me that I was still way shorter than it even if it'd been three years.

"You won't be staring like that once pein brings you down." I grumbled.

I pulled my hood over my head, hiding my face as I walked passed the guards. Texas guy, who's name I had forgotten was too busy singing praises to the wall  to notice me.

His partner however, looked up from his book and nodded at me. "Welcome back Hyuga~hime."

Then he went back to his reading. From his casual confidence at my identity I concluded he was a sensory ninja.

'At least they're better than the sleeping duo.' I thought.

"Oi brat!"

I internally sighed as my travel partner run up to me, panting. "I-pant-thought I-pant-told you to-pant-wait for me."

"While you took a peak in the hot spring? No thank you. I'd rather take my chances with wolves than to be caught with you Ero~senin."

Jiraiya gasped and covered my mouth, giving the villagers a closed eye smile. Of course none had heard what I said so he only got weird looks in return.

"Your creeping everyone out pervy~sage." I mumbled into his hand.

The toad sanin sighed and removed his palm, sulking quietly. "I hope I never get a student as disrespectful as you."

"Sorry to burst your hope Jiraiya." I snickered quietly to myself.

"What did you say?!"

I ignored him, pulling my hood closer in an attempt to draw less attention to myself. Of course that didn't do anything with a grown man yelling down at me.

Jiraiya paused when he saw me fidgeting with the thread of my cloak, his eyes softening.

'That's right. She'd developed that habit ever since that day.'

I tsked and jumped to the roof, an annoyed look on my face.

'I don't need your pity old man.'

'I don't need your pity.'

A tear fell.

"I don't-"

"Where do you think you're going with your sweater in that state?"

"Kaa~san I need to go. Bar-Sayaka was expecting me 30 minutes ago." Two year old me whined.

"Well if you're already late it won't matter if you stay for a few more minutes."

'Actually it will. Each minute of me being late is a minute of me sparing without using chakra.'

"Come here Rin. The more you struggle the more time you waste."
