3rd Person POV

"Joe was supposed to pick me up." Mack says

"So why aren't you with him?" Ralph asks

"He never showed." Mack starts rambling quickly in one breath. "Cecile got stuck at work and Cisco wasn't answering his phone and neither was Caitlin or Frost or whatever side is showing right now and I don't wanna bug my parents on their trip but I'm kinda freaking out now--"

"Okay, okay, okay." Ralph whispers, pulling Mack into a hug and combing through her hair to calm her down. "Shhh. It's okay. Just calm down and breathe." He pulls away, pulling the both of them to sit on a crate. "What were you saying about Joe?"

"He never showed up to take me home." Mack says, a hand over her chest as she calms down

"He's not at work?" Ralph asks

"I have no idea." Mack answers. "But he's always on time to pick me up. And if he isn't he calls me. I haven't gotten any calls from him."

"Where is he?" Ralph asks, looking into Mack's big worried brown eyes

MacKenzie's POV

"Look, we'll...we'll track his phone." Ralph says as we walk towards the car

"He's not answering his phone." I remind him, grabbing onto his hand as we cross a busy street

"Alright so how should I find him..." Ralph says, thinking out loud

"I think you mean we." I tell him, pulling to a stop next to the car

"No, I mean I." Ralph says, stopping as well

"Why can't I come?" I ask

"Because, and I can't stress this enough, your parents will kill me." Ralph tells me

"But they don't have to know." I tell him

"Well I'm not lying to them." Ralph says

"Okay fine, so we won't lie." I say. "I'll tell them as soon as they get back."

"They will still kill me." Ralph emphasizes

"Look, Ralph, you need me to help." I tell him. "I'm a powerful metahuman--"

"I'm a powerful metahuman too." Ralph says

"Ehh." I answer, shaking my hand to gesture my response. "You need me to help." It's silent for a moment as Ralph stares at me with crossed arms. "I also think I figured out a way to find Joe."

Ralph drops his arms and turns his head. "How?" He questions

"Let me come and then I'll tell you." I tell him

Ralph huffs. "Fine." He says, taking a step forward to open up the passenger side door for me. "Your chariot awaits, M'lady." He says, bowing as I step into the car and sit down. He closes the door and makes his way to his side. "They're gonna kill me." He says before opening up the door and sitting down in the driver's seat

"Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, what are you doing?" Joe asks as Nash sets up a line under all the rubble that was trapping them

"I'm gonna blow this blockade sky high." Nash says

"You do that, this whole thing collapses, we're dead." Joe says
