A/N I'm just gonna say hi! I've made a few edits to the ages and their grades. Aang, Toph, Katara, and Haru are 15 and sophomores. Sokka, Suki, Yue, Azula, Zuko, Mai, and Ty Lee are 16 and Juniors.

Aang POV:
My phone alarm rang. I perked up, shut it off, and headed to my meditation perch. I find the mornings to be the best, not only for meditation but the best time of day. The air is fresh, the birds are chirping, the morning dew refreshes me. It's my first day of school. I'm so nervous. I've only been schooled at the Southern Air Temple. But I was sent here for a more expansive education and for my safety. Apparently, things are unsteady and people are targeting the Avatar. So traveling around, telling people who I am, isn't an option.

"Aang, come down for breakfast!" I heard Monk Gyatso shout.

I gently moved off my meditation perch and made my way down the stairs. I grabbed my backpack, it was so weird, in the Southern Air Temple school, we didn't need backpacks. We simply carried what we needed. But ever since we found out I was the Avatar, my electives changed into political studies for around the world knowledge. I easily absorbed all of it, I have a knack for studies. So I'm hoping I'd do well in a new environment. I quickly finished my fruit salad and oatmeal, pushed in my chair, and fetched my phone and sweatshirt. The morning air was still a bit chilly, although I can warm myself with my breathing, sweatshirts are always comfortable.

Gyatso called me to the door saying, "Aang, we leave in 5 minutes. Get your stuff."

"Okay," I replied.

I searched for my lemur-monkey, Momo. He was curled up on the couch.

I patted his head, "Goodbye Momo, see you after school."

I rushed towards Monk Gyatso and headed out the door. We both airlifted ourselves on Appa and flew towards Elemental High School.

We arrived and landed in the field in the back. Unfortunately, there were people nearby and many of them stared and started whispering.

"Aang, I've talked to the principal and he wants to see you before class. Have a good day, text me when you get out of class."

"Okay, Gyatso, I'll see you after."

I hopped off of Appa and headed towards the school. I saw a lot of heads looking towards me. I picked up my pace, dodging everyone on the way to the principal's office. I busted through the main office doors, realizing I made a scene. I stood straight up, moved to the side of the doors, closing them gently as my face heated up. I walked over to the front desk to face two identical women, Ms. Lo and Ms. Li.

"Hello, I'm Aang. I think I have an appointment with Principal Iroh?"

They responded at the same time, "Avatar Aang, Principal Iroh is waiting in his office, second door on your right."

They pointed to his door.

"Thank you, and please, just call me Aang, people aren't really supposed to know I'm the Avatar."

"As you wish," they said in unison.

I walked up to the Principal's door and knocked.

I heard a calm voice say, "Come in," I entered and was showcased by many inspirational posters, mostly puns with tea.

This made me smile and laugh to myself.

I directed my attention to the Principal, "You must be Principal Iroh, it's a pleasure to meet you."

"Oh, the pleasure is mine, Avatar Aang."

I winced. Avatar Aang was so formal.

"Please call me Aang. I have a question, how is all this going to work?"
