Rest of it

Aang's POV:

Suki had agreed to help me with Katara. I would be going over to Suki's house after I held the sectionals at Lake Laogai Park. I was tremendously hopeful and grateful that Suki was willing to help me. Ready to start the day, I sat on my floor to begin a brief meditation.

After my meditation, I went downstairs for breakfast. Gyatso wasn't down yet, so I ate my bowl of cereal alone. I set my phone up on the salt shaker and watched Everything Great About Megamind, a video from CinemaWins. As usual, I fed Appa and Momo and continued to watch more videos on my phone.

Eventually, Gyatso came down the stairs to the kitchen, where he made a bowl of oatmeal.

"Morning, Gyatso," I said.

"Good morning to you as well, Aang. What time do you need a ride to the park?"

"I think we should leave around 1:40, I want to be there a little early to pick out a nice spot."

"Sounds good to me," he said.

I headed back to my room and sorted out what I bringing to the sectional. I changed into a pale green shirt and put on some black joggers. I took out a small drawstring bag from my closet and set it on my desk. I went to the laundry room and placed my damp clothes in the dryer, added a dryer sheet, and pressed start.

I ambled back to my room and texted Suki, 'Do you live near Lake Laogai Park? I'm going to be nearby and I was wondering if I'd be able to walk to your house from there.'

I focused my attention on making my bed and straightening up a tiny bit more. Once I was done, I checked the time. I had two hours to do homework before I had to be at the park. Even though I had done most of my homework when Katara came over two days ago, I still had a history assignment to do for Professor Zei.

I finished up my assignment and went to the bathroom to brush my teeth and get the hair out of my face. I made a mental note to take a shower before Katara and Sokka's house. I pulled out my phone and set a timer for when I'd have to pack up and leave. I then went to Amazon Prime Video and continued to watch iCarly. There's just something about those spaghetti tacos that I wanted to make myself. If I remember my scrolling through YouTube correctly, the person who played Spencer, Jerry Trainor, made a tutorial about how to make spaghetti tacos. I clicked off the app and found the video. After clicking the video, I was half expecting a random fire to spurt out in the background. It also turned out that Jerry had never actually made spaghetti tacos before making the video. To say the least, I was surprised.

My timer eventually set off and I rushed to my desk, picked up the drawstring bag, added my phone inside, ran downstairs, got my flute and music, added it to the bag, and opened the cabinet in the kitchen where all the water bottles were stored. I picked out the first one I could find and filled it up. Gyatso was waiting by the door, waiting for me to finish scrambling to get all my stuff. Procrastination 101. As I got into the car, I noticed I had some string attached to the water bottle. Ah, back to the days where I'd bored and make friendship bracelets. I was compelled to finish the bracelet, so I picked up the string and tied knots. I soon got into the steady groove of tethering the strings together. I wasn't focusing on the road, so I didn't realize when we had arrived.

"Aang, we're here," Gyatso said, breaking me out of my trance.

I chuckled and opened the door. I stepped out with my bag and water bottle and leaned back in the car.

"I'm going to meet up with a friend after the sectional. I promise I'll be back before we need to head to the dinner."

"Alright. I'm going to hold you to that, Aang. I'll see you later. Text or call when you need a pick-up."
