Chapter 41

Nicole’s POV

I wake up the next morning snuggled into Liam’s chest. I smile not opening my eyes, wanting to stay like this forever.

I felt Liam kiss my forehead “good morning beautiful”

“mmm good morning” I say snuggling closer to him

He hugs me closer to him and we lay there for a while enjoying each other’s company. We could have lay here all day but a phone ringing interrupted our peace. Liam reaches over me and grabs his phone.

“hello?” Liam answers, his voice groggy

“what do you want Harry” he sighs

Liam kisses my temple “Nicole, Harry wants to talk to you”

“put it on speaker” I say leaning into his side

I wait for Liam to put the phone on speaker and sit up a bit.

“hi Harry” I say

“hey Nicole”

“What did you need to tell me?” I ask

“I just wanted to let you know that your relationship is all over the internet”

I sigh “I think I already knew that” remembering the events of last night

“are you ok?” I hear Katrina’s voice come through the phone, we must be on speaker too

“a little overwhelming, but I have Liam” I say and he gives me an assuring squeeze

“if they think they have the right to treat you like that I will personally hunt them down one by one and give them a piece of my mind” Katrina says

“it’s fine, stop stressing about me” I sigh

“you know where to find me” she says

“always” I say

“love you!” she says

“love you too” I say as we hang up

“you know who else loves you?” Liam smiles

“who?” I say, sarcastically

“meee” he says cheekily

“I love you more” I say

“not as much as I love you” he says

“how much do you love me?” I say

He flips over so that he is hovering over me. He brushes my hair behind my ear.

“more than you’ll ever know” he smiles. I smile remembering how we admitted our feelings for each other. I wrap my arms around his neck and pull him down so that his lips meet mine. His hands go to my waist as he flips us over so that I am on top. I smile as I pull away and lean each of my hands on either side of his head.

“we better get up” I say rolling off of him and off the bed.

Liam grabs my wrist pulling me back “why?” he says

I turn around and kiss him on the forehead “we’re going out today”

After we got dressed we headed out of the apartment. I entwined our fingers as we made our way towards the park.

“so what brought this on?” Liam asks

“well, all we ever do is stay inside and today we can finally be out together and not care. Everyone knows and I thought why not confirm it?” I say as we get to the park and I sit on a swing

He leans down and whispers in my ear “good because I can see the cameras everywhere. Act natural. Let’s give them something to take pictures of. Now laugh like I said something funny” he pulls away and smiles. I let my laugh come naturally, I can hear the cameras clicking. He gets behind my swing and starts to push me. Once I get high enough I let my head fall back and I enjoy the thrill of the free fall. I always thought swings were the only good thing in a park.

“I’m flying jack!” I scream, quoting titanic, having way too much fun, forgetting about the cameras. Liam chuckles at me, I must look like a child.

Once the swing slowed down, Liam helped me up. He grabs both my hands entwines our fingers. I smile as he uses our linked hands to pull me closer.

I go up on my tippy toes “do you think they are still here?” I say into his ear

“yeah, I have another idea” he says turning his face to go and kiss me. But before our lips touch I pull away and I smile.

“you’ll have to catch me first” I yell over my shoulder as I run away from him in fits of laughter. I keep running, not very fast because I cannot stop laughing.

In a matter of second I feel his arms wrap around my waist from behind.

“gotcha” he says kissing the back of my neck.

I turn around in his arms and wrap my arms around his neck.

I go on my toes again so I can reach his lips and close my eyes. His arms wrap around my waist and he lifts me up, my feet no longer touching the ground, pressing his lips onto mine. In that instant I forgot about the paps hiding in the bushes because they don’t have anything better to do. All that I felt was him and me. He spins me around in a circle and I smile into the kiss. He sets me down and we pull away and smile at each other.

“so what do you want to do now?” I ask

“oh I don’t know” he says looking up trying to look innocent “maybe this” he says sweeping my legs out from underneath me. I scream but be catches me and lifts me up bridal style. I clutch onto him for dear life.

“Liam put me down” I say

“hold on tight” he says

I tighten my grip around his neck just as he starts spinning in a circle. I giggle at how ridiculous I feel. It’s like a scene out of some cheesy movie.

“Liam James Payne put me down” I squeal as he stops spinning

“say you love me” he says smiling cutely

“and if I don’t?” I ask

“then I guess I will have to carry you everywhere” he says grinning

“I love you” I say kissing him on the cheek

He smiles and puts me down.

We made our way out of the park to go get some ice-cream. We were stopped by one of the paps.

“are you two really dating, or is it all a lie?” he asks

I roll my eyes, did he see none of that?

Liam smiles politely at him “yes we are dating, and you know what? I love her” he says, tugging my hand.

We spend the rest of the day together, and I cannot stop smiling the whole time. I have the perfect boyfriend.
