Nicole’s POV
I knock on the door of apartment 23 and Liam opens the door
I smile “hey babe! How’s your eye going?”
“it’s really sore. But considering it happened two days ago…. Did you wanna come in?” he says stepping aside
“sure” I smile as I walk into his apartment pulling him behind me. We sit down on the couch and I snuggle into his side. I look up at him and there’s something wrong, he isn’t smiling
“So how is my beautiful girlfriend today?” Liam asks
“Well actually quite upset” I say, racking my brain for a way to make him smile
He frowns “What’s the matter?”
Lightbulb! “I can NOT believe you didn’t get me a present! It’s like our two day anniversary” I say putting on a fake girly accent
He burst out laughing “oh so now we’re that couple?”
I smile “there’s the smile I wanted to see”
“You always make me smile Nicole”
“And how is my wonderful boyfriend today?” worry filling my voice
“I’m fine, stop worrying”
“Don’t tell me you’re fine when you have a black eye”
“it’s nothing. Though I won’t be able to leave this apartment until I’m healed
Liam being well ‘Liam Payne’ it probably wouldn’t be good if anyone saw him with a black eye. The rumours would spread and who knows what they will come up with. So it was a good idea for him to stay inside
“well then I’ll stay with you”
“you sure Louis will be up for that?”
“I’ll find a way”
“You are the best girlfriend in the world” he says kissing my cheek
“I try” I say blushing a little
“in all seriousness, is there anything I can do for you?” I ask
“No really, I’m fine”
“But I want you to feel better”
“Well maybe there is something you can do make me feel better”
“and what would that be?”
“Come here” he says lifting my chin up to meet his eyes. His beautiful chocolate brown eyes.
I wrap my arms around his neck and lean in so that our lips are almost touching “What did you want?”
“Oh just shut up and kiss me” he says closing the distance between our lips. When our lips meet it’s like fireworks. Tingles shoot through my body and I have so many butterflies it almost hurts. I move one leg around to the other side of his body, straddling him, never breaking the kiss. He puts his hands on my waist and I tangle my fingers in his hair pulling him closer to me deepening the kiss. We had been snogging for a while so I pulled away, breathless. I kissed his blackened eye softly and then lay my forehead on his
“Feel better?” I smile
He grins “Much better”
“Well if that’s all I better be leaving”
“but you just got here” he pouts. He is so adorable.
“I promise I’ll be quick. I just have to get some stuff so I can stay here and tell Louis”
“but..”
I give him a small peck and kiss his eye again.
“When I get back I won’t leave unless you want me to deal?”
He smiles “deal”
I stand up and put my hand to shake on out ‘deal’. He took hold of my hand standing up and pulling me closer to him.
He pecked me on the lips “I’ll miss you” he whispers
“I’ll miss you more” I say stepping away and heading for the door
“bye babe” he shouts from behind me
“See you in a bit” I say walking out the door
I drive back to my house and go upstairs. I pack a week’s worth of clothes in a duffel bag, grab my toiletries and go down stairs to find my mum. She was sitting on the sofa sipping her tea.
“Hey mum” I say sitting next to her
“Hey sweetie”
“I was just wondering if I could stay with Liam until his eye gets better?” I say looking at her hopefully
“Sure honey, you don’t have to ask me every time you stay over at Liam’s”
“But he’s my boyfriend now”
“Doesn’t make a difference. I already trust him” she smiles
I pull her into a hug “thanks mum”
“no problem”
I get up grab my bag and head back to the apartment complex. When I get there I get Louis to let me in. Now the hard part. Telling Louis.
