Nicole’s POV

“Wake up Nicole, you have to get ready for school!” I hear my mum shout while shaking me vigorously.

“ok, ok” I mumble back. She leaves the room shutting the door. I drag myself out of my lovely bed and start getting ready for another gruelling day of school. Thank goodness I only have one week left then I’m done forever. I brush my teeth and comb through my hair. I decide to wear something simple so I slip on a pair of skinny jeans and an oversized jumper. I go down stairs and slip on my UGG boots.

*DING DONG*

I walk over to see who could possibly be at the door. I open the door to someone I don’t expect, my best friend.

“Liam!!!???” I scream

“Hey beautiful” he pulls me into a hug and swings me around in a circle.

“What are you doing here?” you see Liam is in a band and I’m sure you’ve heard of it. One Direction.

“We just finished the tour and we get a whole year off” he replies

“Well we can spend more time together then”

“We can spend as much time as we want” I smile as he pulls me into another hug.

“I’ve missed you Liam” I whisper in his ear

“I’ve missed you too” he whispers back.

I look at my watch, shoot, it’s 8:15,

“I’m gonna be late for school”

“oh right, kay let me drive you then.” Liam offers. I kindly accept, I grab my bag and we both hop into his car.

I made it to school just in time, rushing to sit next to my boyfriend, Daniel. He entwines our fingers and I give him a kiss on the cheek.

Morning classes were the same as usual, long and boring. Then it came to lunch, my favourite part of the day. I entered the cafeteria and I went to sit next to Katrina my other best friend.

“Guess who’s back in town” I say to her

“who?”

“Liam” I whisper in her ear, not wanting anyone else to know that One Direction were back from their tour.

“Really? That’s fantastic!”

“What’s fantastic?” Daniel asks from the other side of me

“Liam’s back” I answer

“I don’t think that’s fantastic at all” he retorts

“awww, babe, are you jealous? You know we’re just friends”

“Don’t be ridiculous I’m not jealous”

“Whatever you say” I mumble.

Just to prove that there is nothing going on between me and Liam I lean over and pull his face to mine, kissing him gently on the lips.

“You’re the only one I love kay?”

“kay” he says looking down at the floor.

The rest of the day dragged on. I had most of my classes with Katrina and Daniel so it was bearable. I just kept thinking one more week, one more week.

*RING* the final bell of the day sounds and all the students rush outside. I take my time, when I get out the front of school I see a familiar car parked there. I go over and look in the window, and sitting there is Liam. I hop in and he smiles. I pull him into a hug then put my seat belt on.

“What are you doing here?” I ask

“You didn’t think I would leave you without a ride now did ya?” he replied, flashing a smile

I laugh and say “I could’ve just went with Daniel”

He grits his teeth “Well I’m here now so I’ll take you home” he says and starts the car. What was it with these two today? Daniel is jealous of Liam, Liam has something against Daniel. Whatever it must be a guy thing. Liam and I catch up on all the things we missed while he was tour. Then I realised we weren’t going the right way.

“Where are you taking me Mr Payne?” knowing that he was doing this on purpose

“Did you think I was going to keep you all to myself? The boys wanna see you too Ms Tomlinson” he chuckles. I know what you’re thinking, Tomlinson? Louis is my cousin, his dad and my dad are brothers hence the same last name. I sigh, seeing the boys would be fun, I missed them a lot.
