Chapter 25

Nicole’s POV

I went down stairs to find my mum. I had something very important to ask her. I find her in the living room watching TV. I sit down next to her and tapped her on the shoulder. She looks at me curiously “what’s the matter hun?” she asks

“mum I needed to ask you something.” I say nervously looking down at my hands

“sure honey. What is it?”

“well you know how Katrina already has her own apartment. We were talking the other day and she wants me to move in with her”

“of course you can move in with her. I’m surprised that you haven’t moved out sooner”

I look up and smile “thanks mum, you truly are the best” I say giving her a hug

She smiles back “I try”

I go upstairs to my room and call Katrina to let her know the news

“Hello?” Kat answers

“hey Kat guess what?” I say

“what?”

“I get to move in with you” I say trying to hold in my excitement

I hear a high pitch scream come from the other end of the line and I smile. I take that she is excited

“this is going to be awesome” she squeals

“I know, I can’t wait” I reply

“thanks for helping me again babe” I smile at my wonderful boyfriend. Today I was moving in with Katrina and Liam was helping me with all my stuff, not that there was much.

“anytime Nicole” he smiles

He grabs the last box and heads down stairs to the car. When I get down stairs I see my mum waiting at the front door a little teary. I go up and hug her

“aww mum it’s not like you’ll never see me again. I will visit” I say hugging her tightly

“I know that. But it only seems like yesterday you were my little girl. I’m gonna miss you” she says

“I’m gonna miss you too mum” I give her one last squeeze and let go

I smile “I love you”

“I love you too” she smiles

I walk out the door to where Liam is waiting for me. As we drive away I wave to my mum. We get to the apartment and excitement fills me. Katrina had gotten an apartment in the boys’ complex so we were close to them. Her apartment number was 33, which coincidently was right above Liam’s apartment. Liam helped me bring up my stuff, which was mostly clothes and a few other things. Kat was at the door waiting with a huge smile on her face, I smile back. I put my stuff down in my new room and start to unpack. Just as I was finishing up Liam came up behind me and wrapped his arms around me. I smiled.

“did you want help with that?” he asks kissing the back of my neck

“no I think I’m good” I smile turning around in his arms

“hmmm, I could show you around maybe meet some of the neighbours?” he says raising his eyebrows. Before I could protest he was pulling me closer into his arms and placed his lips on mine for a soft kiss.

As I pull away I say “so I hear the guy in apartment 23 is pretty fit” I smile cheekily

Liam kicks the door closed, and pushes me gently up against it. “Well tell him you’re taken” he says pulling me into a passionate kiss. No matter how many times I kissed this boy the feelings never seemed to go away. He always seems to leave me breathless. It has been a month since we started dating but the feeling never got old.

“but I really like him” I whisper against his neck

He chuckles “he really likes you too”

I pecked him softly on the lips before someone started banging on the door. I sigh and open it to a frustrated Katrina.

“Nicole, do you mind?” she says arms across her chest

I look at Liam apologetically “sorry Liam, I’m going to have to ask you to leave”

“but I only just got to see you” he pouts

“You can have me all to yourself tomorrow” I say literally pushing him towards the door

“I’m holding you to that Nicole” he shouts as I close the door.

I chuckle to myself and go find where Katrina went. I find her sitting on the couch in the living room. I plop down next to her

“so what’s the plan roomie?” I ask

“The plan is have to a good time” she replies
