Liam’s POV
I turn around to see where Nicole is. I see her frozen still standing at the door. I walk back to her
“Nicole what’s wrong?” I ask
She doesn’t answer
“Nicole?” I say shaking her shoulders.
She looks up at me “Daniel” she says, who knew one word would have such an impact. I turn my head around, the boys were looking at us curiously. They walk over to see what is going on.
“What’s wrong? I’m hungry” Niall complains
I look around the small café and saw him sitting with his arms draped around some girl in the corner of the café. How dare he – I take a few deep breaths to calm my anger.
“Daniel’s here” I say through my teeth
The boys heads whip around and they spot Daniel just as he is getting up
“Can we go somewhere else? I hear Nicole say, recovering from the shock
“Sure babe” Zayn says
We all turn, I grab Nicole’s hand and pull her towards the door. Just as we were about to get in the car I hear a familiar voice from behind us
“HEY!”
We all turn around and come face to face with Daniel, I tighten my grip on Nicole’s hand
“What do you want?” Louis says
“Oh I just wanted to come over and say hello” Daniel says with a big smirk on his face
“Well we were just leaving” Louis says calmly
With that we turn back and head towards the car, I still held Nicole’s hand tightly in my. Suddenly, I felt Nicole pulling on my arm, she grips it tightly. I turn to look at her, Daniel is pulling her other arm.
“LET GO OF ME!” she screams
I pull her towards me, Zayn pushes Daniel off Nicole. Daniel lets go and I hug Nicole into my side, she grips onto me tightly.
“What is wrong with you man?” Daniel yells
“Stay away from her” I practically yell at him, trying to control my anger.
“You don’t own her” he snarls back
“Neither do you, so keep your filthy hands away from her”
Niall comes over and puts a hand on my shoulder, warning me to calm down. I turn heading for the car, making sure Nicole is in front of me. She gets in and I slide in next to her. I take a few deep breaths, trying to calm myself down.
“Liam are you okay?” Nicole asks
“Just pissed, nothing you should worry about”
“Why are you so angry?”
“THAT BOY out there hurt you Nicole. He hurt you and here he is the next day with some slag. It’s like you were nothing to him, and that makes me upset. He hurt you and you cried. No one has EVER made you cry like THAT BOY has and when someone hurts you Nicole, they hurt me. Because you mean a lot to me.” I sigh
“awwwwwwwww Liam!” she says pulling me tightly into hug, I wrap my arms around her waist “you’re the best friend a girl could ask for”
I sigh, and that’s all I’ll ever be, her best friend
The boys piled into the car. Niall slides in next to me
“What happened?” I ask
“Let’s just say I don’t need to know where he lives anymore” Harry says from the front
“Harry what did you do to him?” Nicole asks
“Nothing you need to worry about, love”
“Harry” Nicole demanded
“I’ll just say this, he’s gonna have a sore face tomorrow” Harry laughs
“Oh Harry” Nicole sighs
We decided to through MacDonald’s and head back to Nicole’s to eat. When we got back we all sat around the table to eat.
“hey Nicole?” Zayn asks
“hm?”
“Why was Daniel trying to grab you anyway?” he continued
“he said he just wanted to ‘talk’ and I said no then he started pulling me away from Liam” she shrugged
“What a psychopath” Zayn replied
“Yeah” she looks down “will you excuse me?” she gets out of her chair and ran upstairs without waiting for an answer.
Zayn looks at us confused “What did I do?”
I sigh “I’ll go check on her”
