Nicole’s POV
Liam was taking me out today. We were going to a café for lunch. I guess he was trying to cheer me up a little. I had been in a bit moody lately, because it’s that time, if you know what I mean. It was really sweet of Liam to take me out. You can get sick of staying inside. Besides I was craving something greasy and fried.
We stepped in and was greeted by a waitress. She smiled flirtatiously at Liam, batting her eyelashes at him, as she showed us to a table. I grumble to myself, stupid bitch thinks she can flirt with my boyfriend?
We sit down and I glance down at the menu. The waitress walks away only to come back two minutes later.
“so what can I get you?” she asks Liam turning her back to me, pushing out her chest
“I’ll have the burger and chips thanks” he smiles politely at her
“will that be all?” She asks obviously not caring about me
“Nicole?” Liam asks turning to me.
She turns to me with a tight smile. What’s her problem?
“I’ll have the fish and chips, and mango smoothie” I say, not looking up from the menu
“looking to put on weight I see” she mutter under her breath. I glare at her
“i AM the one with a boyfriend” I say through my teeth
She shakes her head, laughs and walks away
“what a bitch” I say
“aw baby, are you sure it’s not the mood swings?” Liam says
“No, Liam she was just a bitch” I say “flirting with my boyfriend…… telling me I’m fat” I mutter in frustration to myself
“are you jealous?” Liam says incredulously
“no I am not jealous” I say, feeling my cheeks heat up
“you are the only girl I have eyes for” Liam smiles reaching across the table to take my hand in his
“yeah, whatever” I mutter, still upset
Liam recoiled his hand as if her has been slapped. I look up at him and see the hurt in his eyes. Great, now I’m a terrible girlfriend. Stupid period, stupid mood swings.
“Liam, sorry. I know you would never hurt me. you know I love you right?” I say feeling really guilty
“doesn’t seem like it” he mumbles not meeting my eyes
I sigh and go over and sit on his lap. I lift his chin up with my finger and my eyes meet his.
“I love you” I say before kissing him softly on the lips
When I pull away he grins widely at me
“I know” he smiles
“all better?” I ask
“almost” he grins cheekily pulling his mouth back to mine
We are rudely interrupted by the waitress when she comes back with our food. She clears her throat and I turn around and smirk at her. She is glowering at me.
“thanks” I smile referring to the food
She gives me a tight smile and turns on her heels. I laugh at how disappointed she looked. I go back to my chair and start eating my food.
