Emily and I get in to the bus
Our transport driver clearly not happy with indecisiveness today.

We get in ignoring him and sit in our usual seats.

We sit in silence for a while as I drown in thoughts...

"Keo!!!"

"What?"
"I've been calling you and you're sitting right next to me?" Emily says sincerely
"Sorry, I was just... thinking?"
"About?" She asks curiously
"Well, you know when... You meet a person ?"

"yes" she says waiting for me to continue
"And a part of you feels like even if it doesn't work out now sometime in your life you guys will meet again and it will all work out and that's why you keep holding on to them?"

"Sort of, where are you going with this?"

"You see that's where I went wrong with Peter, I waited and I stood, I blindly let him keep me as at his side, all because... Because I was fooled into thinking that some day he'll come to his senses and he'll realize I'm the person, the one who he's supposed to be with in the end. I just don't want that to happen again and It's starting to feel like that's what's happening here" I say defeated

"Whoa whoa whoa, ok
First of all the Peter phase was 3 years okay!, And the Harry phase just started don't rule it out yet, second Harry hasn't said anything Peter did back then to keep you at his side, I mean he bought you chocolate and begged you to come to his game, in my book those are definite moves and third, I can't lose this bet" she finishes her and we both laugh

"What game? the one he acted like I begged him to come to?" I rolled my eyes

"Look, I wish I could tell you what was up with him but, you know males they are the 9th wonder of the world."

I wait for her to continue

"Oh no that's all I got"says and I laugh at the unfinished pep talk.

"All I'm saying is, just go with the flow, give him a little more time to show his intentions"

"Fine" I said

"Good" she says getting out of the bus

"Oh and Keo...(I look at her) Don't Overthink!" She demands

"I'll try" knowing very well telling me not to Overthink is like telling a fish not to swim.

was back to denying my existence this time because I think he could tell, I was angry at him. Coward, now that I think about it.

and I were... Cool?... One life lesson I learned form a famous life coach guy called Gavee was to Never Hold a Grudge. It does nothing for you except make you bitter. So with that said I was civilized with Peter. We would have conversations and laugh but... Not like before. Now there was a wall. I knew it obviously, cause I built it and he felt it, I could tell, he had noticed how distant I was and dare I say he respected it and knew not to push it.
