Harry's POV
The walk to Keo's house and back to mine was painfully short and excruciating long.
How?
Short because I wanted it to be longer,
For it to just be me and her, even though we weren't really talking, there was something about being in her presenceIt was just easy
I didn't have to put on a facade
Or try too hardIt was long because
The whole time
I was trying to figure out our situation
Reanalyzing everything
But,
Emotions
They are just too complicatedWhen we got back I opened the gate and we headed to the back yard
Harry: Lady's first
I gesture with my hand
She smiles at me
And for once today it's not a fake one
I clear my throat to help cloud the
Womanly blushy smile I do backShe laughs
It's good to hear her laugh again
I missed it
I observe her with a wide grinKeo: like what you see ?
She questions with a smirkHarry: yeah, I guess it's not so bad
She does her classic eye roll with a smile shaking her head
Keo: whatever
We sit with our legs inside the pool watching the kids swim
Only for them to come out 2 minutes later, apparently the water was too cold
I roll my eyes
Yeah I could have told them that earlier
Which 8 year would be swimming at 6 pm anyway?I didn't even realize
It was just Keo and I
And everyone else had gone insideShe sits next to me staring at the water, as she swings her feet in it
Im happy she's not as tense a before
That she's finally comfortable around me againI consume her with my eyes and eventually she just smiles randomly
Harry: what?
She laughs
Keo: has anyone ever told you you have a habit of staring intensely at people?
She makes eye contact with me briefly
Harry: well, no because, you're the only one who experiences it
She rolls her eyes and looks back at the water
She doesn't believe me
Why doesn't she?Keo: mmmk
Harry: so
I begin to think of something to say
Then her phone ringsShe looks at it and puts her phone behind her after lowering the volume
Allowing it to silently ring on its ownHarry: aren't you gonna get that?
Keo: no, it's okay
Harry: who is it?
Keo: well if you must know, it's my sperm donor
I die from laugher and try to compose myself
Harry: your what?
I finally manage to get outKeo: my sperm donor
Harry: why are you tryna have kids? On some Jane the virgin vibes?
Keo: whaat no!
She laughs
