He wants me to stay?

"Libre mo ko?" Naninigurado lang, 'no. Baka 'pag bayaran na ang bills sabihing nag-assume ako.

Hindi niya naman kasi ako pinapili ng pagkain ko so I considered it as his treat.

He cleared his throat, "Of course-----"

My eyes widened a bit, "Really?"

But he immediately waved his hands in front of me, "No, no. Of course you'll pay yours and I'll pay ours," pointing himself and Charie.

Natatawa naman akong tinignan ni Charie. Ang cute niya, ah..

I pouted while sitting back. Ano kayang gagawin ko for five years? Graduate na ko, eh. Wait, speaking of graduation..

"I have question to ask...if you don't mind?" Matagal ko nang gustong tanungin sa kaniya ito eh.

He gave me a nod, "Yeah, sure."

"Bakit ka nasa stage noong graduation?"

He seemed that he was recalling it and when he already remembered, he's hesitate to answer me.

"My u-uhm.. one of the owner of that school is our lola."

His grandma?! WHAT?

"Lola niyo?" Napalakas ako ng sigaw. "S-sorry. I mean.. your the owner of that scholol? Wow.." I was just so amazed!

Umiling siya, "No. She is the owner, not mine. Not my parents', but hers."

Kahit na! Ganoon na rin 'yon! Mayaman talaga sila.

"Nag-aral ka roon?" He nodded. "And you got?"

I waited for his answer...

"J.D.S.C."

My eyes widened for the nth time. As in gulat! Kung ipinagmamalaki ko ang Cum Laude kay kuya, ngayon hindi na! Walanghiya? Sabi ko na nga bang matalino ang isang 'to, eh.

"Kaloka.." Bulong ko sa tabi. "Ano ba 'yong J.D?" Summa Cum Laude lang alam ko, eh.

"Juris Doctor." He simply said. I see. Juris Doctor Summa Cum Laude.

Juris... Jurisprudence...

"Lawyer?" That's unbelievable! I mean, Law school naman ang U.M. and he's so smart so okay lang naman. But the years of taking law course! "How old are you? Twenty five? Six?" I wonder so real!

Maikli siyang tumawa sa tanong ko. "Well, I'm only twenty one."

A fucking twenty one?! So, dapat nag-aaral pa lang siya ngayon or graduating pa  lang!!

My forehead creased, "Then how?" Hindi ko makapaniwalag tanong.

He almost roll his eyes, "As far as I know, I'm not obliged to tell you my personal life."

"Pwede mo namang sabihin na lang, eh.."

Nangunot ang noo niya. "And should I?" He clasped his hands together and rest his elbows on the table.

"We're, uhm...friends?" I almost stuttered! Ghad..

He narrowed his eyes and chuckled. "I don't think so.."
