"You ready?" Bungad niya sa akin nang binuksan ko ang pinto ng unit ko.
Pinasadahan ko ang kabuuan niya ng tingin. He's just wearing a navy blue v-neck shirt and a jeans but that made him more attractive. Samantalang ako, a simple white dress and 2 inch white heels pero halos hindi na makagalaw sa grabeng kaba.
"Hindi ba pwedeng bukas na lang?" Nagsusumamo kong tanong sa kaniya.
He held my hand. "Baby, we'll going to Finland tomorrow, remember?"
Damn.
Christmas na bukas and we chose to go to Finland to celebrate Christmas there.
And now, he invited me to have Noche Buena in their house.
Wala na akong karapatang tumanggi ngayon dahil pareho na kaming nakabihis.
"Come on, baby. You'll just meet my parents." Hinila na niya ako palabas ng condo.
Hindi ko siya makapaniwalang tinignan nang makapasok na kaming kotse niya. "You think it's just easy to meet your parents?"
Hell, hindi niya lang alam.
He starts the engine and held my hand again, "I know you're kinda nervous but I swear to earth. They won't eat you."
I glared at him but he just laughed and started driving.
Around 8 p.m na kami nakarating sa bahay nila and sobrang kaba ko nang pagpasok pa lang.
"Dad." Nakasalubungan pa naming ang daddy niya. Lumapit siya rito at dahil hawak-hawak pa niya ang kamay ko ay nahila ako.
My knees are trembling.
"Hey, Son. You're finally here." He turned to me and gave me a smile. "Hey there, Kellie. Welcome to the house!"
I swallowed hard but managed to smiled back to him, "Good evening, Mr. Gomez. Thank you po."
I was so shocked when he laughed, "You're really funny. Just call me tito. That'd be fine."
"Roger that, tito." I chuckled to lessen my nervousness.
He tapped Gab's arm, "Kuha lang akong wine. Accompany Kellie to the dining area para makakain na rin kayo." Umalis na siya.
"Let's go, baby." He squeezed my hand. "Si mom na lang." He then shortly laughed to annoy me.
And so it worked. He opened the door of dining area.
My trembling knees a moment ago doubled. My heart beat gets faster as I stop from the track when I saw a familiar face.
I am wondering so much when even Gab stopped.
