𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗿𝗱 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻 𝗽𝗼𝘃:

mattia woke up with kairi's body tangled with his, he smiled at the sight wishing he could wake up like this everyday. he kissed kairi on his forehead then slowly removed his body.

he picked up his phone and checked the time; 5:21 am. mattia groaned knowing he had to get home or he'll get grounded, meaning he couldn't see kai. he put on his clothes quickly, grabbed his phone, then looked around kairi's room for a piece of paper.

it was a little dark and mattia was till tired from just waking up, so he decided to just text kairi when he got home. once he knew for sure he had everything he texted eric, kissed kairi one more time, then headed down stairs.

he slid on his shoes quietly, making sure no one would wake up, then walked outside to meet eric.

mattia woke up for the second time that day, rubbing his eyes while letting out a yawn. he got out of his bed and quickly grabbed his phone because he saw text notifications from kairi:

mattia quickly put some clothes on; not caring to see what they were, he just wanted to get to kairi. he grabbed his phone and dashed upstairs, almost tripping. 'mama!' he called out while turning the corner to the kitchen.

'yes mattia?' his mom yelled back as she flipped the pancake she was making. 'i have to go' mattia said out of breath while slipping on his sneakers. 'go where mattia?' his mom looked up from the stove, looking at her son who was about to leave.

'i have to go see kairi, he's in the hospital' he breathed out. 'okay but be back soon! don't stay out to late.' she complied. 'okay bye mama'

mattia walked into the hospital, the same one where him and kai met officially, and walked to the front desk. he was playing with his fingers out of nervousness, he knew kairi was okay but it's scary to think one day he wouldn't be.
