Amelia's POV- September 2019
Gavin assured me that dinner would be super casual, so I chose to wear a blue satin cami top under my jersey and black jeans. I paired my outfit with my jean jacket and my brown ankle boots. I'd meet the two ladies before the game, without Gavin so that was a bit intimidating but I mean...he was kind of busy.

"You look nice"

I smiled at my dad,

"Thank you" I replied accepting his compliment.

I kissed his cheek.

"Where are you headed to?"

Jon chimed in,

"Does the jersey not give it away?"

Dad smiled and reached over to fix a curl.

"I'm going to a game, and then dinner after," I said.

"Should we expect you home tonight?"

Dad raised a hand when I went to argue,

"It's just, she hasn't spent the night since Monday night"

Snitch.

"I take it you've been with Gavin?"

I responded to dad's question by nodding,

"You owe no one an explanation"

I smiled smugly at Jon who opened his mouth to argue,

"Jonathan, I remember seeing you more at the station when you started seeing Alex"

The look of betrayal was...worth it.

"When do you plan to introduce him to mom and dad?"

Uhhh,

"Take your time, we are in no hurry. Get to know each other more, and when you feel the time is right...or when I think it's been too long"

I laughed,

"Enjoy your night"

"I will, bye" I replied.

I waved at them as I made my way out. When I got to the stadium, I showed the worker at the gate the pass Gavin had handed me and got an eye roll in return. She directed me towards another worker who led me to a parking lot. I shut off my car and grabbed my phone before exiting the car. Once I got my visitors pass, I made my way to my seat. There were two blondes and three brunettes. I smiled as one of them noticed me and proceeded to nudge the one next to her who turned.

One of the brunettes, who looked to be the oldest of the group stood up.

"You must be Amelia."

I nodded,

"I'm Jesica"

I shook her hand,

"It's nice to meet you," I told her.

The other brunette stretched out her hand,

"Hi, I'm Cara"

"It's nice to meet you" I responded as I shook her hand.

"Hi, I'm Lacey"

I shook her hand,

"This is Millie"

Millie smiled,

"We're name twins"

"Nice to meet you" I repeated,

"And this is Carissa"

I smiled and shook her hand.

"Sit down, sit down"
