"Come on, daddy! Let's go, hurry up!" Naiinis na tinulak tulak ako ni Vero palabas ng bahay.

Problem of being an UNDERstanding father.

Nagpatianod na lang ako at wala sa sariling naglakad sa gilid ng dalampasigan.

"Bakit ba kailangan pa nating magpunta roon, baby?"

She faced me and showed me the container containing the Chicken Adobo I cooked earlier.

"Daddy, were just being a nice neighbor. Besides, I still have no friends here."

I should have brought an umbrella. It's freaking one in the afternoon and we're walking with no cover from the heat of the sun.

Katatapos ko lang mag hugas ng aming pinag kainan, agad akong niyaya ni Vero na magpunta sa sinasabi niyang bahay noong batang lalaking nakita niya. 

The friendly Ashia Veronica which is very opposite to her father. I chuckled with the thought. Kung gaano kabait ang kaniyang anak sa ibang tao ay ganoon naman siya ka snob at walang pakialam sa paligid niya noong bata pa siya.

"Is that the boy you're talking about?" I asked her when we reached the other side of the resort. The place is beautiful and lot of flowers are arranged in every corner of the whole place unlike ours na karamihan sa makikita ay mga punong niyog. I'm not good on flowers though.

I saw the boy run in the cream sand shore and played with his kite.

He's good looking and tall. Maybe he's 6 or 7. 

Vero didn't answer me and called the boy. He immediately runs towards us and smiled at my daughter.

Ehem!

Stop smiling at her.

"Don't smile at her id-"

"Daddy! Be nice!" She smiled at him too. "By the way, here, we brought you Chicken Adobo. Daddy cook that." The heck! What's with that smiling scene. They're just four and six maybe seven. I don't know, tsk!

Maybe I should prohibit Vero from seeing this little boy.

It's not good for her!

Ano? Magiging kaibigan sila tapos magkaka developan ng feelings tapos ano? Liligawan ang anak ko tapos sasagutin naman ito ng Vero ko tapos sa huli papaibigin tapos iiwan rin lang pala. Mas mabuti pang umuwi na lang kami.

"What's with the look, daddy? Come on, Diego is inviting us in their home."

I sighed and followed my daughter as she walks towards the house in the middle of the resort. I have no choice.

It's a two-storey house painted with green.

A woman in red dress came out from the house and smiled at us.

Her smile.

Her face.

Her looks.

Hinding hindi ako magkakamali. It's been five years but I will not forget her face. I've been looking for her pero parang bula lang siya na biglang naglaho.

Fuck!

"Viviene?!"

"Helius?"

"Wha-t are-"

She didn't finish what she's about to say when her eyes pointed at Vero.

My daughter held my hand and looked at me confused.

"Is— she your daughter?" Aniya ng makabawi sa pagka bigla.

"Yes, she's Ashia Veronica, my daughter."
