KREISHA's POV,

1 year later...

I never thought my life would become like this. Akala ko pang habang buhay na akong mananatili sa institution pero nagbago ang lahat ng pumunta roon si Helius.

I didn't expect to see him that day kaya wala sa sariling nasabi ko ang lahat ng mga iyon sa kaniya at napaghinalaan pa niya akong baliw. It's an institution for crazy people though.

Aminado akong malaki ang galit ko kay Helius but one day, the most unexpected person that I thought would I never see, visited me in the institution.

The moment I sit in the visitors chair, napahagulgol agad siya at paulit ulit na humingi ng tawad sa akin. She's asking for my forgiveness dahil nasira niya raw ang pamilya ko.

She asked me to slapped her para mapag bayaran niya raw ang kasalanan niya sa akin but I didn't do it. I don't want to hurt anyone, I don't want to hurt someone especially Freya who is pregnant.

She started telling me everything, from what she did way back five years ago at hanggang sa manatili sila sa States. She also told me that my daughter is Ashia Veronica Dela Villa, she even handed me scrapbooks of Vero's pictures, mula noong toddler pa siya hanggang mag four years old na.

She also told me that Helius is not the one who stole the title of my mother's house and lot.

After hours of talking, naiintindihan ko na ang lahat.

Galit pa rin ako kay Helius, but that's because he didn't manage to hear me out. He just left, leaving me behind. But I know he did it for the sake of our daughter's life.

Kaya kung hindi lang naging sarado ang utak niya para sa explanation ko, edi sana hindi nangyari ang lahat ng pagkaka sakitan namin.

But it's over now...

I already forget that chapter of my life. I don't want to carry anymore hatred from the past, because I believe that the future holds more good things now.

Today is Vero's first day of school.

Kinder na siya and we decided na sa Maryknoll School of Cateel na siya i enroll. And because Baybay is a little bit far from the Centro, nakapag desisyon na rin kaming lumipat sa bahay namin sa San Rafael.

The house is clean at ang dating mga gamit ay nasa ganoon pa ring pwesto, so therefore I conclude na pina maintain iyon ni Helius. May nagbago lang kaunti but it's still fine, the whole house still looks classy and elegant.

Mag isa kong inihatid ang anak ko papuntang school dahil may business meeting na dinaluhan si Helius sa ibang bansa.

Vero looks very excited sa kaniyang bagong uniform. Kanina pa siya panay kuha ng litrato gamit ang cellphone ko at minsan sinasali pa ako.

"Mommy send this to Daddy please, we look cute here!" Sabi niya sa akin sabay pakita ng picture. Natawa naman ako at tumango.

I parked the car at the parking area at kinuha ang bag ni Vero sa backseat.

Lumakad kami papuntang entrance gate at pinakita ang ID ni Vero sa guard na naka assign. He let us in at pinasuot muna ako ng Parent's Pass.

I asked one of the student in the corridor kung saan ang kinder room at nagpa salamat naman ako ng tinuro niya sa akin.

"Mommy, where's my room?" Vero asked habang naglalakad kami.

"Malapit na anak, dun sa may dulo ng building na ito, there oh." Itinuro ko sa kaniya ang classroom sa may dulo.
