"I know she'll accept Vero, she's longing for her, for years now. I just don't know about you. You destroyed her and hurt her, remember? And please respect her for what decision she'll come up. "Paano mo po nalaman, Lolo?"

"Kinupkop ko siya matapos mong ibenta ang bahay at lupa na kusang loob ko namang binigay sa kaniya." I can see disappointment in his voice. Mukhang hindi niya talaga nagustuhan iyon. Pero—

"Lolo, it was all Freya's idea." I answered.

"At kung hindi ka pa naman tanga bakit sinunod mo ang ideya niya?"

"Because I was busy taking care of Vero at hindi ko alam na ginawa na pala iyon ni Freya. Nalaman ko na lang noong sumama na siya sa kabit niya." Sumbat ko sa mga paratang na ipinupukol sa akin ni Lolo.

He could've just tell me na alam niya kung nasaan si Kreisha.

He just shrugs and walks towards the main door, as if he's expecting someone to come.

Hindi na ako lumingon pa at nanatiling nakatingin sa sahig, thinking of the possible outcome kapag nagkita na kami ni Kreisha.

"Helius, she's here!" Gulat akong napalingon kay Lolo nang bigla niyang tawagin ang pangalan ko, "Come on, hija, come inside."

I look at the woman who entered the house. Her eyes are still emotionless, but when she met mine. I saw how she stilled at tila bang gulat na gulat kung bakit narito ako.

Hindi niya pinatagal ang titigan namin at inilipat niya ang paningin niya sa gawi ni Lolo.

She has this confused look in her face at tila bang nagtatanong kay Lolo kung bakit nandito ako.

Lolo cleared his throat and invited Kreisha to sit in one of our couch across mine.

Wala pa rin kaming imik dalawa at nakikinig lang sa sinasabi ni Lolo.

"So as you see Helius, she's not crazy and she's physically, emotionally, and mentally healthy." Napatingin ako kay Kreisha ng marinig ko iyong sinabi ni Lolo. I saw how her cheeks blushed and she immediately looked away.

"Why did you do that? I really thought you have develop some disorder or—"

"Stop! I was just nervous and shock, okay?" She answered, stopping me from what I'm supposed to say. But still, she's not looking at me.

"So you're not crazy or have that some kind of weird thing?" I asked her, sinisigurado ang lahat.

Umiling siya at nakahinga naman ako ng maluwag. Thanks God!

"So when is the wedding?" Lolo suddenly asked.

"WHAT?"

"HUH?"

Sabay naming sigaw ni Kreisha.

We both look at Lolo and he just shrugged his shoulders, "You're both here and besides, Vero, would be really happy."

"Vero's here?" Kreisha asked Lolo.

This is going to be the first time she'll meet Vero in person ever since Vero was born.

I saw excitement, longing and love in her eyes.

Napayuko ako dahil sa sinabi niya. Mas lalo pang nag init ang tainga ko nang marinig ko ang impit na tawa ni Lolo.

"I think I should go, it's getting late and I have to attend a charity ball tomorrow." Sabi ni Lolo at tuluyan na siyang lumakad palayo, leaving both Kreisha and I in the living room. Kreisha also stood up on her seat so I looked at them both.

"Where are you going, hija?" Lolo asked Kreisha when he noticed that she stood up too.

"I'm going with you."

"No, you'll stay here. Besides this is your house too."

Kreisha look at me and sighed.

She let Lolo go and stayed on where she is standing.

Nang masigurado kong wala na si Lolo sa labas ay dahan dahan akong lumapit sa pwesto ni Kreisha. She's still not moving so I hold her arm. I felt her body shivered so I quickly let her arm free.

"Kreisha..."

"Helius..."

"Ano?"

"Natatae na ako! Doon ka muna sa kuwarto ni Vero, pasensiya na."
