I was sitting at my desk, reading the latest reports that the scouts had sent in, thirty pack members were out searching for Lee and still nothing. There as not a scent, not a card transaction, not even a security camera photo. "Damnit!" I yelled, as I let my frustration out swiping my hand across my desk effectively clearing it or its contents.

Emma walked in just as the last of the papers were settling on the floor after having floated through the air from their abrupt flight, my head now buried in my hands as I rested them against the desk. Carefully she walked behind me, draping her arms over my shoulders and kissed her mark on my neck, hoping it would calm me, "We will find her, I promise."

We stayed there for a few moments, until the ringing of Emma's phone pulled us apart. "Hey baby brother." She sang into the phone in her usual sunny fashion.

I looked at her, not sure which baby brother she was speaking to, but all she did was hold up her finger to me. "What's wrong?" The smile that was on Emma's face just seconds ago now falling as she listened intently.

Listen, I'm here with Eli, Mom, and Dad. I need your help. Do you think you could get Abel too? " I hadn't been listening too much, but my ears perked when I heard my name. I quickly started to shake my head; I was not in the mood to deal with one of her brothers.

"Yeah, give me a couple of minutes." Emma quickly turned to me, narrowing her gaze. Then through gritted teeth, said, "Buck up and deal with it. This is family. "

"That's a low blow." I knew she used that phrasing because of Lee, she knew that is all she would have to say to get me to help. Rolling my eyes, I signaled in a very annoyed way to have her put the phone on speaker.

"Alright, you're on speaker Eddie, what's going on?"

"First off I want you to know I would not be calling and asking this if I had any other options." A bit of relief went through me as I heard Eddie's voice. At least I knew I was not going to have to go rescue him from some pack in South America again, like Everett who was scared to call his parents. "I know you already have a lot going on on yourselves."

I cut in, noticing that he was nervous about asking whatever it was he was called for, "Eddie, you know that we are here for anything that you need."

My reassurance was the only thing Eddie needed as he began to describe the Rogue issue he was having, finishing with his issue with Jared Sylvestri, just the name of him making me angry. But at the same time talk of rogue attacks gave me hope that maybe, just maybe Lee would be around trying to help from the shadows as she had been doing with other rogues. "I will gather what I can for warriors, but unfortunately I hope we can do without scouts. I have them out on mission right now. "

Eli's curiosity was always getting the best of him, he could not ask a question, "Why are you sending scouts out?" The question instantly bringing Lee's face to the forefront of my mind, I let out a pained whine before I could register, I had done so.

"Just some pack issues, nothing we can not deal with." Emma quickly said, trying to hide my distress, but I knew they had all heard.

"Hold on a sec." Emma said, placing her hand over the speaker of the phone. "Call the scouts back, this is important." She begged.
