A / N: I am going to be honest, this is an okay filler chapter, but it is a necessary one to get to the next one. Well, I think it is needed.

Anyway, I will be on vacation next week, so that means NO NEW CHAPTERS! Sorry! I will be returning after my vacation and working on wrapping up this story as well as continuing my new one.

Also, this is a bit of a cliffy. It will leave you knowing what is coming next, but you get none of the good stuff :)

Have a Happy and Safe Thanksgiving (for those of my readers that celebrate)!

Abel

"Report. Now! " I bellowed out as I slammed my fist on the desk in front of me scaring the tracker sitting across from me.

"Ah .. Al... Alpha." The young wolf obviously terrified by my outburst was stuttering.

Emma came up beside me, wrapping her hand around my shoulder, rubbing my mark "Abel, you are scaring the poor guy. You need to calm down. " I huffed at her, but she paid no mind to me and turned her attention to the tracker. "Now, Carl is it? What did you find? " Her tone calm and loving, Emma truly was an angel.

The young wolf nodded the confirmation of his name and relaxed a bit enabling him to continue relaying the report he had come here to give me, "We were able to track her phone about thirty miles south of here. That is as far as they have gotten so far, as it appears that she had thrown it out the window of her car. " Carl placed the discarded phone on the desk, the screen now broken from its high-speed collision with the ground.

"This does not tell us where she is." I snapped, grabbing the phone with a rumbling growl. The eyes of the tracker bulging from his head again, no doubt in fear for his life.

Another wolf then spoke up, "You are correct Alpha, but we were able to determine that she was traveling in a late model ford sedan. It was a car that Lyanna's former boss Malory had lent her. We are working on tracking it right now, sir. " My eyes perked up, meeting those of the second tracker.

"Continue."

"So far we have been able to find the car traveling north of the last transmission from the phone. It is only a matter of time before we are able to find it's current location. Along with our tracking methods we have also enlisted the help of the state and local human police forces to locate the car. "

I nodded my head at the two men, "You are dismissed. As soon as there are any further developments bring them to me immediately. "

"Yes, Alpha." They both chimed in unison before exiting the office, leaving Elias, Emma, Edison, Callen and myself.

"She's going to kill me Emma. Lee is going to be the end of me. " I sighed, resting my head in my hands.

"Stop being so dramatic Abel. She is not going to be the end of you. She is going to be the end of Elias. " She chuckled, trying to lighten the mood but it did nothing to lessen the tension. Still trying to make her feel better Elias and I gave a soft laugh and slight smile at her words.

"Well we know she's going North, so where North is she going?" Elias asked.

Callen had been sitting in the corner scowling, "She's going to kill herself." It came out so quietly that I almost did not catch it. But I shot my eyes up to meet his only to see the silent tears falling down his face.

Elias growled at his words, "Why would you even say that?" He went to stand, but Eddie stopped him.

Callen jumped up screaming at Elias, "Because it is true!" I had never seen my Beta possess so much rage before, "If you had even bothered to listen to what she said on the phone you would have heard the same thing I did. She is tired of pretending! She is going to try to stop this fight and that means she is going to Jared. How stupid to the lot of you need to be to figure that out!"
