Lyanna
I started to wake up, but my eyes still felt heavy, like something was keeping them closed. Gingerly I lifted my arm to try to rub them only to feel my arm be jerked back. Instantly alert I opened my eyes to assess what was going on, adrenaline already spiking through my system. I was in an unfamiliar room; the lights were off, and the curtains were drawn. But even with the minimal amount of light I could tell that I was in a hospital room or one that was pretending to be one. The walls were blank, no pictures, nothing and the windows had bars on them. This was not a hospital room; this was nothing more than a fancy prison.
I yanked on the restraints again, my anxiety rising at the thought of being trapped. As my heart rate quickened, I could not help but remember being confined in the cells, as the Rogues that had kidnapped me tormented me. The room around me replaced by the damp, dark cells and dirt floors. Or the cages that they kept upstairs in the main room, so they could poke sticks through or watch as I writhed in pain as they hit the button on the shock collar for making a sound when they hurt me.
Trying to focus on anything was proving to be difficult, my head was still fuzzy, things just a bit muddled. In my panic my chest was heaving, trying to suck in oxygen but it was proving difficult. I knew that I needed to focus on something to give my mind something to occupy itself, so I started assessing myself. The first thing I realized was that I had been changed, gone were my skimpy fun time clothes instead replaced with a simple pair of leggings, a t-shirt and socks. My head was throbbing, but that was to be expected with the nights events and my mouth felt like it was stuffed with cotton.
My breathing slowly started to calm down, and I was then able to focus on the real task at hand, getting free. I continued to yank on the arm restraints, the clanking of the bed the only noise to be heard, trying to remember anything of the night before, but failing to do so past dancing on the bar with Candy. What the hell happened? My brain still feels a bit foggy and fuzzy from the remnants of the previous nights bender.
"Now look at what you did!" Sid's sharp words cut through me, although they still sounded a bit far away. "We are stuck in an unfamiliar place. Do you have any idea what you did last night! " It was not a question I needed to answer, we both knew that things got crazy.
"Yes, Mother. Sorry, Mother. It won't happen again, Mother." I snapped back at Obsidian as she attempted to scold me.
"Seriously, Lee! Look at where we are. Do you even know where we are? I wish I did, but I can't smell anything past the bleach. You know if you hadn't taken that shit last night, I could have protected us!" Sid continued to yell at me as I pulled against the restraints trying to free myself.
"You think I don't know this! I'm sorry alright! I don't need this right now. We need to get the hell out of wherever this is." Instead of answering me, Obsidian scoffed. After yanking on the restraints a few more times I was becoming more and more agitated, "Do you think you could help me now? We need to get out of here before..." I trailed off not wanting to think about who had taken me and what their plans were for me.
"I will try, but I am still weak. There is not much that I can offer right now other than a tongue lashing. I am still working on burning the last of that shit you took from our system." Sid answered me as I opened myself up to her allowing her to rejoin my consciousness, combining our strength, what little of it she had to offer.
